I've seen him in several things and I think he's solid. I feel like he gets more hate than he deserves simply because he's apparently been up for a number of superhero roles.

I mean, some "experts" out there on Deathstroke won't accept anyone but Manu Bennett playing the character, even on film. I'm sorry, but my idea of Deathstroke isn't an Australian schizophrenic who is obsessed with a dead girl he never even slept with.

I don't mind it not being Manu. Just someone of equal or greater value. Yeah, I can understand the dislike of DS's characterization and motivations on Arrow, but Manu Bennet was friggin awesome and has a ****load of presence (I do agree that he's not the only person capable of playing DS, and since the universes are separate someone else should play the role). Just because someone is on the CW doesn't mean they're a crappy actor.

With shooting set to commence in mid April I hope the rumours we saw today are confirmed in the next few weeks. Only Joe Man Jello is the one I'm not sure on.

Manu Bennett sounds like he has a gaping hole in his throat. Half the time in Arrow he sounds like he just got off an oxygen tank.

Serviceable for a CW show, but we can certainly aim higher for the silver screen.
