Honestly Fong is overrated in my opinion. The cinematography in this film from what I've seen far exceeds Fong's work.

I love Fong's cinematography. Flashback intro of BvS alone is one of the prettiest things I ever saw in movies (on the other hand there are some ugly shots in the movie - from Pieta sequences). Vasyanov is really great too. Both have visual language and distinctive style, very cinematic. That being said, I vastly prefer Vasyanov's colors.

I prefer Ayer's cinematographer over Fong. It's not distracting. Not saying Fong's work is, I just think this is more streamlined and futs better. Really liked Fury.

Also the four essential characters from #SuicideSquad, Waller, Deadshot, Boomerang and Flag are all treated very well by Ayer. I'm VERY good

I think, Fong is a master of close-ups. The way he focuses on faces and details - he sells it in the best possible way. He's a natural portrait photographer, IMO. His weakness - group shots, establishing shots, average distances (unless guided by VERY strong source or storyboards). I'm also not a big fan of his colors. Murky, over-saturated or flat.

Vasyanov is more balanced. His close-ups don't shatter earth, but he's good at any distance. I also love colors in his films.

I just that the DCEU movies all look different, but incredible at the same time. Say what you will about MOS and BvS. Both look different and still are great to see compared to other comic book films. Same with Suicide Squad.

If the TV Spots keep up mixed with the marketing and merchandise it has with the buzz of this being labeled a "Fun and dark film" and the introduction of most of these characters to the silver screen, I say it clears 200 mil easy.
