So I have to admit that the THR report has me concerned. So there are two versions of this film. So this one does not get received well, WB will the release another Ultimate Edition. This ticked me off with BVS. We are basically consumers and they need to put out the best (definitive ) version in the theaters. Why even spend money on this film in the theaters, regardless of quality, when you can see both versions in 3 months? I don't want this film to fail but I should be spending money on the best version. It's up to WB to give it to me.

I would have thought the people who are going to buy the Ultimate edition are going to come from the ones who liked the theatrical cut. Strange strategy.

I actually would be more in favor of watching the Documentary/mockumentary? of Leto as the Joker for the 97 days on set than him in this movie.

Just following Leto around and as he does Joker like things.

You never know with Leto. Maybe it's out there....

They sure seemed to have cut a lot. Maybe it was a good decision. A shorter bad movie is better then a longer bad movie.

It's pretty funny with all the tumblrinas whining about how the movie "sexualizes Harley Quinn", by the way. Like, do you have any familiarity with the source material... In fact the show was far nicer to her than most of the comics are.

Cutting scenes in post is not uncommon. But a lot of things seem to have been cut and added here withe reshoots. Which does make me wonder how much the reaction to BvS effected this film. Not by the general audiences, but by the WB execs who saw BvS before release.

I want to see the ultimate cut way more than for BvS.

It really seems they cut a lot of cool scenes.

I think most here will end up liking the movie. I think the lowered expectations will help a great deal though.

He's the perfect spokesman for what they are doing currently.

Harley's origin was BTAS. The show along with the Arkham games are where she is most well known from. Now while they did play up some sexier aspects with her outfits in the Arkham series, her attitude was more or less in line with her BTAS portrayal.

Most don't read comics, just look at the sales figures, so most probably aren't aware that they have basically turned her into sexpot in the comics as of late.
