Solid cast, not the Oceans 11 of comic book films, but as solid as you can get really.

But with all the Batman rumors, it just seems the story line hasn't changed at all from way back when WB was envisioning Bale reprising the role. Joker as the only character Batman has interacted with? Batman as a boogeyman and a recluse? They never wanted to deviate much from that premise it seems. With Affleck in the role I kinda sorta get it, but as the scoopers pointed out, way too much juicy potential for prequels and what not. Of course, Affleck probably won't be playing a 25 year old Batman anytime soon, so maybe they just want this to be Justice League Batman, and his history is really irrelevant in this universe, beyond the obvious sticking points.

Batman interacted with Ra's al Ghul, Scarecrow, Jim Gordon, Rachel Dawes, Harvey Dent, Sal Maroni, Catwoman, and Bane in Nolan's films. Lets not exaggerate.

Well he didn't say the scoop was about the thinker, but who is gonna playing. So pretty much not taking the credit for what Joblo did first. If I'm gonna believe this guy according to his "got right" is not on trama (I just haven't seen him getting this right) but on the casting, specially on Suicide Squad. Cara, Jay Hernandez, Joe Kinnaman, Viola Davis.

I like the idea of Batman as a Boogeyman or something criminals tell pseudo ghost stories about, but if only Joker has really faced off against him or seen him it kind of sounds like B.S. to me but it's Latino-Review after all. I mean if only Joker has seen him then does that mean Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and the other rogues don't exist or haven't come out of the woodwork yet, or does it mean that when they were caught it was because Batman swooped down and got the drop on them before they could interact with him? I don't know if I could fully accept that as a fan. I want this new Batman to have existed for a while; gotten his fair share of scrapes, cuts, and bruises, and fought many foes. I want a balance of Nolan, Dini and Timm, and Burton--- gritty but fantastical.

Hit the nail on the head for me, I feel the exact same way.

"I’ve had a few fittings, but the costume is in development as we speak," he teased. "It’s not going to look like anything that’s been done before, and I think this whole world will look a lot different than anything else."

David Ayer is developing a great voice, and it’s interesting to see his first foray into this type of genre, where he isn’t grounded in reality. The biggest draw to this project was being able to work with him. I talked to a lot of the guys who were in Fury and his process just fascinated me. He sounds like a demanding director but he’ll always be there for his cast if they’re putting in the work for him.

I’ve been training since before Christmas for the role and I’m really looking forward to it. We’ve been meeting to go over fighting and weapon work. Seeing the cast in Toronto in a couple of weeks will be really cool.

Have there been any discussions with WB/DC that Boomerang might be involved in The Flash movie?

I’m not withholding anything, but that is a dialogue that hasn’t been opened yet.

The funny thing about this scoops is it's like... who cares? Seriously, was anyone actually chomping at the bit to find out whether hyenas would be in this movie?

I'm certainly glad to know though that Harley swears a dress in this movie. Like, I figured she's swear a lot, but it's important that she swears a dress, whatever the hell that means.

Crossing my fingers this is true. I trust Ayer to have good sense that Harley's appeal has always been her off-beat and quirky personality, not her fashion or sexuality. They've already cast a gorgeous girl, they don't need to go overboard with it.

Just yesterday I thought of the thing that she is gonna wear few outfits! I swear She is crazy, she can't sport only one outfit... and the fun thing is that she is gonna wear current comic book one, batman tas one, arkham games outfit... That would be dope... If she is whole movie in TAS outfit you cant buy it... but if she pops up suddenly in that crazy outfit you would be "ok she is crazy I get it".... awesome. Ayer and me are like brothers hahaha.

The hyenas are an interesting inclusion. It never crossed my mind they would have it in, but I'm thrilled.

It was a bit silly in the cartoons, but Ayer behind it would make it look intimidating and badass. Never thought I'd say it, but Harley could steal this entire show, even from Joker.
