I am so getting a Harley and joker related tattoo once I start working on it

I just got back from seeing SS. I liked it.

So I'm 3/3 so for with the dceu. Bring on WW :mnm:

Watched it yesterday. Really wanted to like it, but it ended up being one of the worst comic book movies I've seen in recent years (haven't seen Fant4stic though).

I really liked the film up until the second act, then it went down hill all the way to rock bottom.

So disappointed!

Never do it if you thought enchantress was bad Dr. Doom was much much worse :loco:

Yeah, I'll probably never watch Fant4stic. I even stumbled across it on TV but wasn't even curious enough to watch it. It looks so terrible and Fox should feel dirty for what they did to Dr. Doom!

I really wonder the reaction to Suicide Squad if it came out in like 2011.

I think it would've been more or less the same. The main thing that people have a serious problem with is the blatant studio meddling which results in odd pacing and a lackluster villain....like Green Lantern which ALSO came out in 2011. The one big thing SS has over GL though is it has a great ensemble of characters. I didn't like one person in GL and I'm sorry, I love Ryan Reynolds, but he was completely miscast as Hal. He tried but that role did not fit him.

Saw it again today, and you know what? It's hot garbage in terms of editing, villain, cgi ******** and pacing, but this time around I had a lot more fun. Harley is brilliant, Smith is great, most of the gags land, and it never takes itself too seriously.

Batman however, remains a right chubby bastard.

My score goes up to 6.5/10.

I truly hope we get an extended/director's cut of this movie. I strongly feel like it needs it

Same here.

I guess this is your favorite in the DCEU now huh. :cwink:

I mean the cats out of the bag now. Everyone knows theres a mountain of extra footage just laying around. Why not use it and capitalize on it?

Here's an idea I had. Why dont they do a "short film" as an extra on the blu ray similar to what Marvel used to do. Call it "Mad Love" and have it chronicle Joker and Harley's relationship together. We all know theres more than enough footage to make one, fans would go crazy over that and it'd be a nice companion piece to SS.

Wtf is a pajiba? It's like people are going to be going to Russian and Chinese sites after this to try to prove how "****ed" Warner Bros. is. You folks got way too much time on your hands tbh.

That's a pissed off possible former-employee.

While WB has being d***s at times they still pumped out Gravity, Mad Max, The Revenant, The American Sniper, Lego Movie etc.

She thinks Max is s***? Would be more interesting if she says The Fantastic Beast is a mess or not because we can assess this claim in 3 months rather than almost another year.

I really hope that SS is a success and will get (well-made) sequels.
The concept itself is a cinematic universe gold. :D
The series could be the first stop or introduction for many bad guys/ villains before 'graduating' to future DCEU movies.
Some right amount back stories there and there, they will be more fleshed out for latter appearances.

'Chubby bastard'. :lmao:

WOW. I just read that disgruntled WB employee letter. I mean, with these things, who really knows the authenticity but if true, DAMN. It sounds like WB is a complete **** show. And that comment about WW beng a mess.......that's not encouraging. :(

You do have to wonder what is going on in those offices, though.
