The acid trip visual effects are still present and the therapy scene is literally just a few lines extra.

No one get their hopes up for Harley and Joker stuff.

Just disappointing for this super fan.

I guess the next thing to look forward to is a "fan edit" with the excluded trailer scenes and without the overly loud/distracting songs and acid trip filter bits.

I blame BVS TC or at least the reaction to it for this.



I still say that Suicide Squad will be a very rewatchable movie on TV. Very John Carpenter esque. Flaws and all.

Except that...I really liked those moments, and enjoy them when I see those scenes again. All of that helped create the film's identity. I wouldn't want that to go away.

I don't think Ayer gives a ****. The hatred for this movie was way overboard. So he left it alone.

I think he knows he still should have made a better movie. At least not dropped the ball on his usage of the Joker.

A lot of cool BTS footage skimming around so far, no deleted stuff, but cool nonetheless.

I forgot one thing from the movie overall. The scene where Waller sees the kid selling Superman and Batman shirts; it is BOTH the DCEU "S" logo and the DC Comics "S" logo, along with the DC Comics Batman logo. Explain! lol

I decided to watch the first 20 minutes before bed. Character intros are all the same. Im wondering where this 12 extra minutes is gonna come from now.

Soooo....they once again put scenes in the trailers that aren't in the movie huh...


Well that's it. I am officially done with Suicide Squad. I never want to see it or hear anything about it ever again. What a complete waste of these characters' first moments on the big screen.

Nearly all of the footage is in the second act. Marginal improvement. First act still needs a complete overhaul. Second Act is solid IMO. Third Act...needs to be pre re-shoots. And the Joker Harley abuse needs to be re-instated. Overall I like the movie because I feel the characters are done so well with strong performances, bur really a missed opportunity. Again, mostly due to WB in the editing room and demanding reshoots.

I haven't seen the EC yet but reading the comments... this is lame. I love how they even cut up the one extra Joker scene. lol

EDIT: Just watched the full motorcycle scene... there are some fun things in there, but the scene just doesn't really flow. The dialogue, the way Jared draws out his sentences.. it just doesn't really work. I love Ayer but he was not the right candidate to do this movie.

The dialogue was awful in that scene. He sounded like a joker fan.
