You just know that Leto is gonna kill this performance. Couldn't be more happier with who's playing the character. I do hope we get to see the purple suit though, the white suit does look slick though.

The white suit doesn't even particularly even look like a suit as some others said. It looks more like a smoking jacket or elaborate robe or something.

Not to get people's hopes up, but didn't they release the first photo of Batfleck pretty early into BvS's production? I could've sworn it was the same month principal photography started.

According to this coin that Henry Cavill made, prinipal photography started May 19th and the date when Zack Snyder posted the first Batfleck photo was May 13th.

Leto has that "special something" that makes him ideal for Joker, all other Joker actors had that quality.

Snyder is a director and IMO he and the studio decided to show something to Kevin Smith.

I don't think him being the director makes that much of a difference. I also don't think the studio would seem it necessary to show Kevin Smith, of all people, anything.

Well, Common was going to be John in 'Mortal'.

He has said, publicly, that he wants to be John.

There have been rumors, recently, that WB are going with John over Hal.

John is military, so there is a connection to Flag. Which is the same reason some were speculating that Hal could be in the movie.

It's possible.

I don't know if it's just desperation for a casting announcement or what, but I don't know why anyone would really want Common as John Stewart. It's almost like people will take anyone at this point .

A villain I could buy, or maybe even an original role conceived for the movie. But I'd rather he not be the face of a superhero franchise.
