So in order for him to praise Suicide Squad he must be pissing all over Arrow? I think you guys are reading too much into that tweet.

I'm sure he wasn't dissing Arrow at all there but the show still sucks. At least this season was pretty meh.

More like they're pissing on Arrow to praise Suicide Squad and using Johns tweets to try and make it seem like it isn't pathetic, it's no less pathetic than when people start talking **** about Marvel in order to praise DC. Arrow is a good show that's had a rough season, which despite its issues (which people have LOVED to blow out of proportion) has had some great action and an awesome villain in Ra's.

Yeah. At least we'll probably get a good Suicide Squad and Waller now with the film. And hopefully better a Green Arrow and Black Canary one day.

My intention was not to piss on "Arrow" in order to praise "Suicide Squad".

Just to piss on "Arrow". :oldrazz:

I'd really like to see Oliver. I am quite fond of the character ever since "JL: Animated Series".

The first 2 seasons of Arrow are great. Haven't seen season 3 yet, but I think it's dubious to say the show sucks because of one off season.

That's because you haven't seen season 3. :o

But seriously, season 3's just been awful. I don't think the show has ever been great, but it used to be really enjoyable for the most part. But I think it's biggest problem has been in adapting it's lead and with Dinah Laurel. Most of the positives come from elsewhere, such as Deathstroke minus his motivation. But when it comes to adapting those two, it's just dropped the ball unfortunately. :csad: I do hope they can turn it around though.

What was wrong with adapting Green Arrow himself? I thought it was handled well.

That's fair but if you haven't seen Season 3 yet, it's pretty much just a lot of crying from Felicity near the end and it's just not that good. It started out with a bang though and then it dipped.

They've made strides this season with Laurel, Ra's in this second half of the season has been a really good villain, Roy has had some cool moments, the Arrow half of the Arrow/Flash crossover was awesome, and there've been plenty of things to appreciate, but I guess acknowledging that would require taking a break from whining about Felicity and Merlyn.

I love Green Arrow, but the TV series isn't really Green Arrow unfortunately!
It seems pretty obvious they wanted to make a Batman series, but couldn't get the rights, so they made Arrow and made him like Bats... even using one of his main villains in the storyline!

I feel they focus too much on trying to be Batman while neglecting traits that separate him from Batman. Hell, one of the showrunners even tweeted how they see him as nothing more than a Batman ripoff so I guess that's to be expected.

I still think she's pretty bad, though I'm not sure how much of that is writing and how much is just that I don't think Cassidy pulls it off.

On topic: I hope we get some better shots of the Enchantress costume soon so we can see more of the detail on it.
