So the plane logo. Any reference there perhaps?

I did some detective work earlier but couldn't find anything.

All we know it's La[something] Airways. Third letter seems like another L.

All this whining about tattoos is surprising to me. Leto looks incredible. Perfect bone structure and physical appearance for the character. And are people really complaining that he has bright green hair? It's a modern take, but it's also a take that's very much in line with his "Clown Prince of Crime" persona. Yeah, he looks a little "rockstar", but it works. There's a reason Harley fell for him in most versions of the story, and that's because he is oddly charming and a famous, larger than life figure.

I don't think it's an Easter egg. The airliner is "La..... Airways", which isn't referenced in the comics. The L doesn't resemble the Lexcorp logo, either.

More of that weird gewy ****

Hmmm... looks almost like plantlife... Poison Ivy confirmed! :cwink:

At least with these new pictures I can stop squinting at blurry images with no revealing details. He has the ink. It's official.

I'm warming up to it.

I quite like how The Joker and Harley are going to make a very colorful couple. Literally.

Blues, pinks, yellows, reds, greens, silvers, purples. Punk rock clowns.

It's dissapointing to see this design get so much backlash, social media is in a frenzy and I feel like they're disregarding what's important. I don't really care about the designI'm mainly excited to see Leto in the role. My main gripe is that his suit jacket isn't white, but I'll live.

I'm with you on this.
If the film goes well with audiences, this much will be all to 'obvious and of course'. But given how hard it is to receive anything based on popular source material for what it is these days...
I for one just always look for potential.

I also think that green hair is going to look a tad different depending on on the lighting/color filter.
Ayer really digs this hair cut it seems.
Kinda like how spidy's suit wasn't electric blue in ASM1

So I've finally had a chance to go through a lot of these photos.

I don't know if it was the shock of seeing all of his tattoos at once in the official reveal, but seeing him in the context of an actual scene and seeing him in wardrobe, I find myself not being as distracted by the forehead tattoo. It certainly doesn't take away from how pants-****ting terrifying he looks in a few of these photos.

I suppose a Joker that fully recognizes that his brain is "damaged" and loves it enough to mark himself with a self-aware badge of pride has just as much merit as a Joker who thinks there's nothing wrong with himself. Being wrong feels so right, as it were.

This is a character that has unlimited potential as far as future adaptations are concerned. That's partly why I love the character as much as I do. I told myself going into this production that I'd abandon preconceptions and remain open-minded. I need to do a better job at that.
not bad

You're going on probation? What have you done? :nuhu:

Ah, crap. I got very close to that once, though I knew the words. :woot:

Well, it was a misunderstood with acumulative infractions, and probation wasn't the case. So it was false alarm, glad to be here sharing info with you guys... and reading your opinions.

Did you really miss me :o I know.... no one except Wolfie :funny:

It would be in character and on point, but I can only imagine the outrage such a scene would cause.

It probably would, but then again Joker has a bit of a history with doing that as well.

I'm still curious what the film will be Rated.

I'm also hoping joker treats Harley in a very unforgivable manner, and wrongs her deeply. This way when she betrays the team 'goes back' to him, the guy that's no good it's perfect. Especially for all the people in the audience that can relate on a character level.

At this point, I don't even mind if he has tattoos. Yes he looks different than the classic Joker as far as his materialistic sense is concerned, but his acting from that video got me excited.

But I am still not feeling confident about the grill. Hope it is not distracting.

It's like the false teeth for the Goblin in TASM2, it made his mouth look really fat and huge, looked really weird.

I wouldn't be disappointed or dwell on it. People on Social media live to ***** about anything and everything.

Even if The Joker just woke up one day and decided to get a forehead tattoo just for kicks, he had to have settled on "damaged" for a reason. It's not like he told the tattoo artist to open a dictionary and point.

And given how showy and gleeful he comes across in that video, he certainly doesn't look self pitying to me. Whether he truly considers himself damaged or not, he certainly doesn't seem to be taking it in a negative light.

And The Joker and Harley have complimentary teardrop tats. That's just totes adorbs.

Someone commented on the DCCU Facebook page:

If directors want to do something "original", they should write something with their own characters and not do ****** renditions of established source material. Dip**** Hollywood producers who are so far out of touch with reality, that they think they have to attach "stars" like Ben Affleck and Will Smith to these movies so that they can make money should be forced to watch people key their cars and cover their houses with graffiti so that they can understand the feeling of having some ******* who thinks that they are a creative genius ruin something that they enjoy. Those of you who support this garbage are idiots who have no understanding of good storytelling or the finer nuances of creativity. Go watch the Expendables, 50 Shades of Gray, or whatever other useless dribble gets you off. Make comic book movies for "fanboys/girls" because that is who is going to enjoy it, pay to see it again and again, and then buy the DVD/BluRay combo. That's the audience that should be appeased, not the brain-dead, moronic, cockblisters who want to see another Will Smith/Ben Affleck/Tom Cruise blockbuster. **** the DC movies, the greedy ****-suckers that make them, and anyone lame enough to think any of the choices they've made are cool.

Personally, I'm glad that Ayer is sticking to his guns and not giving a **** about what the whiny *****es of the internet have to say.

Those coment guys on the FB page are on the level of CBM.com ones

Also, I got to say that I love that the Joker looks like he is embracing his insanity.
