So for all my life, from birth to today, our family has purchased Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments each Christmas for each person in our family. It started as something my Mom did for just her kids, to now something me and all my siblings do for our kids and ourselves.

I suspected there would be a Corenswet Superman ornament this year and now it's been confirmed.

I guess I know what will be my Keepsake this year.

Largely unremarked upon in all that’s being released and revealed, but that classic DC logo is really popping on this merch and the books/trades DC has been putting out for the past few months.

I thought the logo they started using with DC Rebirth was fine, and it was a big improvement over the two that same before, but it’s so clear that the bullet is the quintessential design. And now we’re finally going to be seeing it on film, too (seriously, The Dark Knight Trilogy deserved better DC logos).

The 2000s DC logo from Begins and TDK was okay, could be better but could be worse. That eyesore logo that came afterwards in front of TDKR, though? I don't know how or why they approved that.

I feel like each of those logos took the opposite approach to end up in the same place.

One too simplistic…

This is a perfect combo. Baseball and Superman are both such strong pieces of Americana, and not in a jingoistic kind of way. Match made in heaven.

If anybody happens to spot any metal keychains for the film's logo anywhere I'd be greatly appreciated if you'd throw them up as I might pick one up if I like it. I've got one from Superman Returns & Man of Steel in similar style, but I believe made by different companies, that are just bare metal with the portions of the logo that would be yellow, cut away.

I think those might be coming from Spin Master.

Makes me curious which size Mattel will opt for when they get the license back.
