Well see now your asking for trouble by saying that . Almost every dc comics fanboy knows never to say Hal is The Real GL.

Especially after that whole Rouge Hal Jordan/Parallax story arc after The Cyborg Superman/Hank Henshaw gave premission to Mongul to destoryed Coast City in order to create Engine City - [In Reign of The Supermen mulit-saga from Superman # 80 .

Jordan went insane after his home [Coast City] was Destoryed as Parallax . Jordan went on a rampage, destroying the Green Lantern Corps, and all the Guardians except their leader, Ganthet.

To this day many GL fans hate Hal and many still don't buy the Whole Bull**** of his Redemption in [Green Lantern: Rebirth] .

To be honest with you I was kinda ticked off that they were bringing back Hal to be GL. Kyle's story was going good and John was a Lantern again they didn't need to bring him.

The whole time I was watching Arrow, I just kept thinking "spin-off" LoL. I'd definately watch that show, maybe make it a little more mature and up the sarcasm and humor Green Arrow baby

A Green Arrow series SHOULD NOT be about him becoming the Green Arrow. The reason we love Smallville so much is because Clark is on a path to become THE Superman. Honestly, there's not much "weight" in watching Oliver Queen slowly realize his destiny and become the friggin' Green Arrow, a B-list Justice Leaguer.

Now, this is not a knock on GA. He's a cool character. But if we're going to have a GA series, it needs to be a full blown GA series. The pilot should delve into his past a bit and explain how he became what he is "now", but some of the mystery of his past should of course be left to the rest of the initial first season to uncover.

Yes, Dinah Lance should be in the series and she should play a heavy role as a love interest to Oliver. Corrupted politicians, businessmen, mobsters. There's plenty of A-villain stuff waiting to be used. Throw in the occasional DC guest, and you've got a recipe for a hit, IMO.

Budget-wise, it wouldn't be nearly as expensive as Mercy Reef, and probably could be done with a Smallville budget or less (depending upon what types of gadgets and characters they wanted to use). But honestly, everything that you could want to do in a Batman series, you can easily translate into GA.

I agrre with you and since the Aquqman Pilot was such well received by fans, i think a Green Arrow spin-oof is a strong possibility: it will be easier to produce than Mercy Reef due to special effects and so, not being as expensive as Mercy Reef.

That's cool maybe he will come back and see how much the fans want this spin off and maybe he will say something to Millar and Gough. If not I think we should get a online patition(sp?) and have everyone who wants a GA spin off to sign it or something and one person actually I will print it out and mail it to the CW home offices.

We got to take action if we want this to happen, that's assuming Millar and Gough don't already have a GA spin off in the works.

Personally, I wish Dinah would guest on Smallville. The League will be sorely lacking in estrogen and since Diana can't be on the show, Dinah is the next logical choice. Plus, it could be a catalyst to Ollie & Lois' eventual breakup.

No, during the Rann Thanagar war Jade died and the energy Kyle gave her the first time he was ION was giving back to him, so he became ION again. So that means there are 4 earth GLs, Alan, Hal, John, and Guy.
