Survivor: Samoa

I've never seen a real life troll in a game show before like Russell. He's there just to mess with people. But it is hilarious as hell watching that little guy run.

Not to mention he's an oil tycoon. :cmad:

No concrete favorites here yet, haven't seen enough of them yet.

I have to admit, I did laugh at Russell running. :funny:

I do not know who my favorite is so far (I do like Asian ladies though hehe) But I know I dislike Russell, I do not understand messing around with your own team (dumping their water.. burning socks..ect), but then again I am not a oil company owner..

Not sure about Shambo.. seems like someone who would annoy me.. or lets say.. the hair annoys me..

And yes. .I admit I couldn't Jaison was picked for the swimming part, proved me wrong.

The bald ***hole annoys me. :cmad:

"Evil" Russel is a good time but he'll get exposed eventually .

Shambo will start to annoy me unless she keeps the complaining to a minimum

Marisa wasn't all too bright and had it coming

Ashley is cute I hope she can last.

Never watched the series before. But I tuned tonight.

I like the leader for Galu (pronounced "Na-lu" not Ga-Lu). His speech before the 2nd event was corny though.

Hated the oil guy.

As much as Russell H. was an complete donkey, his plan to sabotage the tribe was working. He already had people biting each others heads off.

Yeah, I really don't understand that at all. He's a real life troll.

I really do like Ashley. Go watch the Insider clips at the CBS website, she has some good tidbits and great confessionals and out look on the game.

Plus she's seen EVERY season of Survivor, so she's a superfan. I'm thinking if any girl will win this season, it'll be her.

Russell is hilarious, he's just too over the top cartoony. Get him a couple six shooters and a big hat, he'd be Yosemite Sam.

Russell is either the smartest guy there or the dumbest player to date. None of the over the top things he did (burning socks, pouring out water) seems to have amounted to much in the actual game, but somehow he was able to get out the first person to question him without a sweat. It'll be nice three episodes from now when someone actually calls him out on his behavior.

Yeah, but the entire tribe was looking to boot a young girl off, since all skinny young girls are either "dumb" or "weak". Plus that Marissa also made a quick enemy in the other guy, was his name Bob?

It was Ben, but he was also a jack*** as well.

What did she do to piss that guy off?

Also agree that he came off as a massive *****er.

I can't remember, all I remember was them waking up at camp and he and Marissa were fighting over something.

This doesn't have anything to do with Samoa but...

For All Stars 2 next season I'm hearing rumors that we may have another Micronesia on our hands meaning the women players band together again and dominate and take the male players to the cleaners.

I can't figure out if Russell is damn smart, or if he is just surrounded by complete idiots (the policewoman being the exception; she seemed to have pegged him as someone to keep at arm's length--good girl). Maybe things are different once you get down there. We audience do have the advantage of omniscience, after all.

Marissa, also, should have kept her mouth shut instead of airing her suspicions (in front of Russell, no less) that do nothing whatsoever save for alienating her tribe members. Whatever happened to what she said at the beginning interview about Russell? Scary bulldog-looking guy, should stick with him, and all that? It was like she had a personality transplant midway in the show.

But what surprised me was not who got voted off, but how easily Russell led everyone on like cattle to his triumphant conclusion. Just a few words here and bold-faced lies there, and voilà! Hopefully, everyone was humoring him. The alternative is just too worrying to think about.

This is going to get confusing, having two Russells on the show.

I think it was just "at least it's not me" syndrome. There weren't any obvious candidates that week and Russell just pointed everyone in that direction. No one questioned it aloud because they didn't want to put themselves on the radar. Once more sturdy alliances are forged Russell may have his work cut out for himself.

Also, I may be wrong, but I believe Ben mentioned Marissa being whiny. I'd have to rewatch the episode again.

I don't think Russell needed to do much convincing, everyone was gunning for young girl already, he just decided to nudge everyone in the direction of the young girl that was calling his BS. He's not a smart player and right now is really overplaying his hand, he'll stick around a while, people will let him think he's running the game and when he overstayed his welcome and usefullness, he'll be blindsided. He forged alliances with 4 girls, 1 he orchestrated voting out and 1 already doesn't trust him.

People will turn on Russell...it's only a matter of time.

Excited for tomorrow's show. I want to see who gets thrown out of the challenge and why.

Looks like it's for tackling a girl too violently. There's a scene of Yasmin yelling at someone on the beach "WHY WOULD YOU TACKLE A GIRL!"

I'm guessing it'll be the same person who get's eliminated. Getting thrown out of a challenge is a nice way to screw over your tribe and paint a target on your back. :o I hope it's someone I don't like.
