Survivor: Samoa

The women are envious bi*ches.
Jaison seemed to be pulling for Russell, with the way he informed the jury about their financial position.
Nobody including Natalie pointed out her play to kill Eric off.

Mick is lying his ass off. I'm glad Russell called him on it and told him, "He's calling me the snake while he followed the snake." I hate final 3s though. Clearly questions to the players are being cut for time and they are only showing one or two for each juror.

I was in the restroom for Jaison. What did he say? I bet they're gonna peeved when they learn Russell is a multimillionaire. :lmao:

He asked them all to say what they did.

Russell - Started a business 5 years ago, in debt for 3 years, became profitable.
Mick - Finished med school, 300+ K in debt
Natalie - in pharmaceuticals I think she said, no job.

Then Jaison went on to explain how they were all making plenty of money outside of Russell just having 7 figures, and told the jury to completely ignore their financial situation when deciding.

Aww, I like Natalie but I wanted Russell to win it. :(

Ugh I despise the, "I played nice so I deserved to win" players. :awesome:

The jury voted more against Russell than for Natalie.

Russell is such an incredibly sore loser. After seeing his actions on the final day at camp, I think the right person won.

I'm happy with the winner. :)
Agreed. Russell played an unethical game and was proud of it, so he didn't deserve it. What Natalie did to win was no less than what he did. Steve really put it best.

I always hate the final threes. I always end up feeling bad for the third person that gets no votes. Go back to final twos, Survivor.

Damn... Monica looked good at the reunion.

1) Who is Steve?

2) This ethics garbage is just that. The end result--- people get voted off, one person wins--- is the same, no matter what approach the individual players take. The whole point of the game is to win the million dollars. You're not handing out consolation prizes to the other survivors. Mick and Natalie were playing the same game Russel was, just approaching it in a more meek, less offensive way. To this day, I've only seen two truly unethical moments on Survivor and that was Johnny Fairplay lying about a dead grandmother and Dreamz cheating Yau-Man out of a goddamn 40 grand SUV. Other than that, Survivor is Survivor and nice guys finish last.

Natalie looks quite attractive when cleaned up...they all do, actually. lol

Congrats to her

Russell looked like he dropped 30 pounds by the end of the game.

The people on the jury that voted for Natalie were a bunch of sore losers. Russell was right when he said he was the only one playing the game. She honestly didn't deserve to win.

At he can take solace in seeing that the American people who watched and voted in the Sprint player of the season thought he should've won.

I was supremely unimpressed with Natalie's answers at the final T.C. Erik practically turned the votes her way with his speech alone, which I didn't see coming. How ironic that he should be praising the one person who orchestrated his downfall. Had he chosen instead to cast Russell in a more favorable light, I daresay the jury would follow suit. It all feels like a hollow victory, somehow, another Stephen but reversed. I guess that's what happens when you expect the person you're rooting for to burst out with verbal smack-downs.

Moreover, I think why most of the jury didn't throw their votes Russell's way was because of Shambo's ringing endorsement of Russell, and we all well know how highly certain jury members think of whatever Shambo has to say. Woman shoulda kept quiet.

That said, I'm more or less happy that Natalie won, and kind of sad that Russell didn't. You could see how much he wanted to win the game, teary-eyed that he was. Glad that he got the 100,000 bucks. At least the viewers recognized his efforts. His finding idol after idol was sheer hilarity. This season would definitely not have been as interesting without him

To those who look down on Russell's "unethical" gameplay, there are no such things as good and bad in Survivor games, only end results. Ultimately, it all comes down to who made it and who didn't, and however much certain jury members may sneer at him, Russell did make all the merry way to the final three; they did not; the end. Nothing more to it. Bringing such abstractions as goodness into the equation only serves to further cloud matters. If there presents a likely move that propels you that much closer to the million dollars, then don't even hesitate to make it.

Having said that, the jury are still composed of human beings capable of wanting to roast your ass for kicking them off the path to the million dollars, so in the future, it'd be wise to tread carefully and not piss off future jury members. They may be stupid and bitter, but saying that doesn't change the fact that not only are they bitter, but they still hold the power of not giving you the money.

I am happy to see that Russell got the Sprint player of the season, as it was obvious that he "played" the game and the audience recognized that. Which is even funnier she wasn't even in the top three..hahaha. Russell may have been unethical but it is a game, you do what you have to do to outsurvive.

The only good thing Natalie did was to align with Russell as he "brought" her with him. He could have easily kicked her off and kept Shambo in her place same with Mick. The only reason she was there was because of Russell.

I couldn't believe the final contestants didn't get a final statement. Probably due to there being three of them. They have to go back to final two as it just makes the finals weaker. The answers seemed rushed, and it felt there was a lot of editing.

Admitedly Russell, should not have been so cocky but at least he deserved to win. At least he did something. "What did you do to win Survivor, Natalie?" "I killed a rat!" :awesome: I thought for sure Natalie would lose due to her weak answers, which is due to her not having really much to say.

His arrogance was blinding. (Especially at the last day of camp.)

Ugh, so pissed that Natalie won, probably the least deserving win ever. I hate bitter jury members, but this one was the worst, they came into the merge with what should have been a guarantee of putting all four Foa Foa's on the jury and f'ed it up all by themselves. How could anyone vote for Natalie and Russell after those speeches, "I survived in the wilderness" vs. "I came to this game to win and strategizing from go to do that, finding out who was strong and weeding them out". Glad he win the consolation Sprint prize though and also glad that he mentioned how pissed he was at the outcome.

I'm happy that Natalie won. Too often people neglect the social aspect of the game in favor of other factors. It's not just about winning the physical competitions. Everyone knows that the winner of Survivor is chosen by a jury. If Russell had played a more friendly, less aggressive game he would have easily taken the prize. Russell was a tenacious player, but he was also as clumsy as any player could be. Who was he trying to fool with that speech about having deserving players in a jury with him before the vote that eliminated Brett? Not to mention all the other players that he offended in the process. Russell wouldn't have made it that far if he hadn't had the idol. His social game was all over the place and Natalie beats him hands down in that aspect.

Natalie wouldn't have made it to the final three either without Russell's idol. That was a big tipping point and when the Foa Foa's gained power, if Russell didn't find and play the idol the Foa Foa's wouldn't have had Shambo on their side and would've been picked off one by one.
