Syfy Nearing Series Order For "12 Monkeys" Adaptation

Another good ep. I like the explaination of Cole experiencing time out of order, therefore we'll have a chance to see Frost, etc in later eps...

Noonan is definitely creepy. Didn't he play in an earlier version of the a Hannibal Lecter movies? I think it was Manhunter with William Peterson. He was also Peterson's adversary in CSI.

And Amanda Schull needs more scenes. My interest always peaks whenever she's on the scene. Standford, on the other hand isn't all that interesting to watch.

just caught episode 3 online, this show continues to be solid.

loving this show so far. like how all the baddies so far have already had encounters with Cole. nice set-up there for future episodes.

Jennifer Goines (brunette drawing the monkeys) looks too much like Amanda Schull. Couldn't they have cast someone who looks vastly different from their lead? Sometimes when i see her, she loks like Amanda with a black wig on which often times makes me believe that she is somehow related to Amanda's character from another point in time.

Episode 2 "Mentally Divergent" Nice to see Kirk Acevedo show up. His banter with Cole was actually kind of good. Funny Cole got sent back to North Korea of all places. What the hell was that crazy claymation the inmates were watching in the mental institution? The gender switch of the Jeffrey Goines character is interesting and I think Emily Hampshire plays the part of Jennifer well, even capturing some of Brad Pitt's mannerisms. Happy to see Tom Noonan cast as the villain of the series. He plays creepy bad guys so incredibly well.

That was the adventures of mark twain. Old movie I haven't seen in ages.

I don't see they look that much alike. If they did, I would be drooling over Jennifer Goines as well.

It's a shame Amanda Schull won't be able to demonstrate her funny side that much in this series as it's not exactly a humorous show. That's why I hope she'll still be able to guest star in Suits.

Yeah, I really don't see any resemblance there, either. Maybe because I was too busy trying to figure out whether Jennifer looked more like Kate Mara or Ally Sheedy to me, lol.

Just caught the episode and still totally digging the show. I like all the little set-ups they have been doing. Apparently they already have plans for season 2 so I'm glad they have a clear path they want the show to go down

Yeah, he played Dolerhyde in Manhunter.

Manhunter and Last Action Hero are probably my favorite Tom Noonan performances. Just for the sheer level of creepiness. He was pretty good in RoboCop 2 and Hell on Wheels as well.

Noonan is ridiculously tall. He's 6'6". He's a giant. Marvel need to get him in one of their movies, although I don't know whom he could play. Maybe the Grandmaster in an Avengers or Guardians movie?

Ah, that's where in know him from..Hell on Wheels!

Episode 3 "Cassandra Complex" I love that Cole is the one that gave Tom Noonan his scar.

I didn't expect Cole to kill the doctor. The stuff in 2043 and the threat building there feels very like TWD.

I thought it was fairly obvious he was going to. Cole wouldn't want the Pallid Man to get any information whatsoever in regards to the night room so its best to remove Henri from the playing field entirely.

I did like how there are secrets being kept between Railly and Cole, makes for some potential tension later on when stakes are higher. I also like how the show is making grand departures from the movie. However, I do fear they will end the season the same way the film ended.

Todd Stashwick will kill it so i'm excited to see the West 7 develop.

Here are my full thoughts on Cassandra Complex for those interested :)

Does Tom Noonan's charcater have superhuman strength or what..?!!!

And as far as West 7 stuff is concerned. If the time machine is destroyed, couldn't Cole just travel back in time before it's destroyed and kill the group's leader or kill the girl that found the base...

Another great ep. In fact this ep demonstrated why i love time travel shows. I love the aspect of looping timelines..i actually thought that Cole was going to seal the tunnel in 2015, thus it wouldn't be there for West 7 to infiltrate it in 2043…..

Now that Cassie is in the compound, there's probably going to be some conflict between Cole/Cassandra's inevitable romance and his romance with her...

Episode 5 "The Night Room" Tom Noonan removing Cole's fingernail looked brutal. The special effects makeup for the decomposed corpse that contained the virus was excellent. Great cliffhanger.

Tom Noonan's character is one sick, sadistic fook...

That actress who plays Jenifer is great at playing crazy.

Yeah, crazy Jennifer is fun.

I am very curious if the plague itself is a paradox. That torso looked a lot like some of the failed experiments. And it may be Cole himself. Time travel can be fun.

I think it'll turn out that the failed time travel experiments carrying the plague are what started the plague in the first place... if that's the case, then I don't think Cole is the origin/source of the plague... but who knows?... *shrug*
