And Kurt Russel and Michael Biehn.

If Arnold's team faces off against Sly's then this sequel is already better.

Thomas Jane and Dwayne Johnson should both be offered roles.

What about if Trench has a young team of hot shots (younger, faster, better weapons, etc.) vs. the Expendables? Sounds like an awesome matchup with Stallone playing the underdog yet again.

The Expendables:

Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross.
Jason Statham as Lee Christmas.
Jet Li as Yin Yang.
Terry Crews as Hale Ceasar.
Dolph Lundgren as Gunnar Jensen.
Randy Couture as Toll Road.
Mickey Rourke as Tool.

Trench's Team:

Arnold Schwazenegger as Trench Mauser.
Jean-Claude Van Damme as Anton Lemieux.
Danny Trejo as Serrucho DaCosta.
Wesley Snipes as Axel Slade.
Scott Adknis as Steve Carter.
Dwayne Johnson as Clay Jackson.
Bas Rutten as Jack Simpson.

Mr. Church's associates:

Bruce Willis as Mr. Church.
James Woods as Mr. Stone.
Rutger Hauer as Mr. Winter.

Very cool list. Just add Thomas Jane, Ray Stevenson and Michael Biehn somewhere, and it's perfect.

For those interrested Jason Statham is in and on the cover of the current issue of Men's Fitness and Sylvester Stallone is in and on the cover of Muscle and Fitness. Terry Crews, Steve Austin, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren is also in Muscle and Fitness. Jason Statham's articale is more about his training in general, Sly's interview seems to have more to with the Expendalbles but I haven't read it yet and the rest of the guys have small sections where it basicly talks about their training for the Expendables. Men's Fitness give an example of Jason Statham's workout and Muscle and Fitness has examples of Sly, Austin, Crews, Couture and Lundgren's workouts.

I personaly like the parts with Jason Statham and Charisma Carpenter.

this movie had the worst dialogue ive heard in a while. i really liked seeing gary daniels in it though, knew he would fight jet li once i saw him as a bad guy. ive said this before, this movie looked like a straight to video movie from the 80's.

^ I kinda agree. After thinking about it, the film didnt look that good. The effects, ALL of them were piss poor, the blood was the worst. It felt PG-13....really disappointed...

its still a good bad movie though. more of a videogame type movie where you just wait till the fight matchups. and the rest of the movie is just throw away.

I need to see it again. But I hate how it was so....tame. So utterly tame. I expected Rambo x 10.

This is what was missing....

Put it in spoiler tags because its...well....too awesome. :o:woot:

also didnt like how it was touted as having all these people in it and really its just stallone and stathum. all the people are just bookends for the movie. and stallone looked like a psycho with that jet black goatee.

I just saw The Expendables today, and thought it was pretty intense! Personally, it seemed to me that Statham totally ran the show. I'm glad he got the role that he did in the movie, because he was great.

And as for newcomers in the sequel, here's a few: Vin Diesel, Harrison Ford, and Keanu Reeves.

yea for a sequel kurt russell (tango and cash reunion)also here is a list of some more 80's 90's guys, not sure they would work for the expendables but they are old stars. carl weathers, brian bosworth, chuch norris, jcvd, bolo yeung, jackie chan could be jets cousin from hong kong. keith cook, billy blanks, rowdy roddy piper, keith david,
newer people could be michale jai white, vin diesel, rampage, luke goss,

I agree about Jason Statham. I liked the guy before the Expendables but after I'm now a hugh fan. This past weekend after my second viewing of the Expendables I hit Best Buy and Wal Mart and picked up The Transporter/Transporter 2(2 pack dvd, actually picked up last Tuesday), Transporter 2(BR), Transporter 3(BR), The Bank Job(dvd) and War(dvd). I'm probaly gonna pick up Crank and Crank 2 this weekend.

i only seen the transporter films, Italian job, and The One, oh and Death Race. I have not seen Crank 1 or 2 or War yet. I too liked him and Charisma Carpenter :hrt:.

I hope someone can get some GIFs of this movie soon. I needs me one of Stallone shooting and reloading his gun super fast. That was awesome.

Was watching Double Impact the other night and Bolo Yeung should be cast as a baddie in the sequel and he should fight JCVD.....AGAIN! :hehe:

That was in fact hardcore. I was sitting there thinking holy ****!

Id like to see Seagal, JCVD and Micheal Jai White in the next one, but what about Mark Dacascos and Micheal Dudikoff? :woot:
