After seeing the cast for this movie, I'm going to have to say that this film will be one of the greatest action movies ever made. What could go wrong? Rocky Balboa and Rambo were awe inspiring. Sly can direct.

it can not be the best action movie because there will not be violence. and what could go wrong? the rating obviously

What are you talking about? What is your definition of violence? I'm curious.

its idiotic to think now about gore. so i really hope you are not thinking about gore now. because this is not what an R rated action movie is.

if you want to know what i mean watch some action movies from the 80's and the 90's. good luck. you will see how awesome it is to see someone punching in the face and killing him with a shotgun. :yay:

No, I'm not talking about gore. Since when can't you punch someone in the face in PG-13 film?

Depends if blood comes out. The MPAA rating system is a mixture of ignorance, oversensitivity, and corruption.

You can get away with a lot in a PG-13 film. It's sexual content and language what gets you a R rating most of the time. Violence is only a factor when it's gratuitous or many people are being killed on screen. And I'm sure this film will have people being killed. Taken did and that was PG-13.

but this is not Liam Neeson kicking ass. we are talking about Sly,Wills,Rourke,Drago,.....

those guys are the definition of violent fighting and cursing.

It amazes me how much stock you put into a rating.

I agree, it's nutty. I don't give a rats ass bout the rating. Sure not having an R rating means no nudity or an overabundance of foul language, but the movie will still kick ass even with PG-13 ratin

Goldeneye was rated PG-13 and it's one of the greatest action movies of all time. The PG-13 rating didn't hurt T4, so in reality there's nothing to worry about.

let me guess you wouldnt have a problem with Jason and freddy kruger in a PG13 movie?

or an American Pie movie that is PG13?

rating is very important to movies. it depends what kind of movie you make.

Considering most of the action was out of WWE Wrestling, yes, yes PG-13 killed T4.

People who say the rating doesn't matter in a movie where Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger are in the same frame of film fail at action movies.

Is there a panel at Comic-Con? All the Avatar fans (myself include) are pissed since Twilight fans are filling all the scenes for the previews. MAybe a sneak peek of The Expendables?

Goldeneye isn't a "Greatest action film of all time", it's one of the better Bond film's, but it is no Hard Boiled, Wild Bunch, Rambo II, or Predator.

And along with complaints about the Terminators throwing people around too much, the rating did Hurt. Terminators hand to hand is usually much more forceful and violent in the other films.

Yeah, with an efficient killing machine made out of metal, you'd think it'd be all about punching peoples heads off or punching holes right through peoples chests.

Instead, because of the rating, we got throwing; lots and lots of throwing.

Throwing someone around is probably one of the least efficient ways I can think in which to kill someone (well, unless you throwing them off a 40 storey building).

This is one of the few instances where I agree that the rating matters on a movie. Say what you will about cursing being "gratuitous", but if you have a group of guys with guns shooting people and being shot at, and not one of them yell "s**t" or "f**k" at the top of their lungs at any point, that's just plain unrealistic.
