Anyone think that Snipes would have been in this film had he not been in jail when this film was shooting?

It already has!

Imagine if Seagal, Norris and Van Damm were in this?

I hope this gets a sequel. Hell, throw in Michael Biehn and Kurt Russel for good measure!

Don't expect Seagal and JCVD sadly. Seagal and one of the producers have a bad history together and JCVD and Stallone had a falling out over this film.

The only guarantee is Wesley Snipes, IMO.

The role Terry Crews plays was written with Snipes in mind, but Snipes wasn't allowed to leave the country, since April of 2009 he can fly overseas to act in films with permission.

Was Snipes still in jail while they were shooting this film? But yeah, he should have been in it as well. Hell, him and Stallone did work together. I'm not sure how their relationship was though.

I believe he was in jail. Recently though, he's been free as an appeal is pending.

The new trailer was ok, obviously the scene with Arnie, Sly and Bruce was gold but the action fizzed by too quickly to get a feel for it.

You're telling me you weren't at least excited at the Sly/Arnold/Willis bit? I mean come on, you can hate the rest, but if you didn't react to that, your man card must be revoked. :woot:

Like Bunker said, it was a sloppy trailer and just doesn't look that fun. Though, I'll still see it in theaters, just for the sake of nostalgia.

Anyone think that this movie (and to a lesser extent, the A-TEAM movie) is how the G.I. JOE movie (which I liked) should have been done? Heck, THE EXPENDABLES seems like G.I. JOE if the JOE team were a team of mercenary's.

yeah for the squeal they need to get more ass kickers
it needs Seagal, Norris, Van Damme, Russel, Biehn, and Steven Lang
Might as well throw in the The Rock, John Cena, Vin Diesel for the ultimate bloodfest of macho manliness devastation that no film could contain it.

Every movie critics head would explode from reviewing it.

I really wish Snipes was in this movie. Hopefully, if there is a sequel, he will be in it as a good guy.

Not old school. Well, I don't know who John Cena is. Now Ventura...two Arnold movies. He counts.

I made it.

haha the Planet Hollywood trio. I remember i was there when they opened the Orlando one. Bruce Willis was wearing a wife beater! :awesome:

The trailer was little better than I was expecting. I was suprised to see the cameo but they really want to see this film. Unfortunately I'll want to see more of Bruce Willis.

Wesley Snipes sure would be a great addition, but you can't have an action movie without motherf%^&*'ing Action Jackson (Carl Weathers) and the sexual Tyranosaur Jessy "The Body" Ventura. The sequel could also use some Vin Diesel and the Rock.

Don't make me go Murtagh on your ass! :cmad:

*begins to crack neck and slowly takes out six shot*

This looks like a lot of fun.

I'm wondering, when the smoke is all clear, which of the three merc/soldier team movies will be the best this year: The Expendables, The Losers or The A-Team?

I'm thinking that The Losers will be the most solid film all around, but The A-Team will be the most fun from a geek perspective (i.e., if you grew up on the TV show, you'll love the hell out of the movie) and The Expendables will be the most action packed and crazy.

can't we just merge all three into one?

or would the universe implode from the awesome?

Seeing as how he's now back to doing action movies, The Rock could be involved in the sequel.

Rock, Snipes, Diesel and maybe a little dab of Dalip Singh? He's not well known, but damn that guy is huge.

I creamed my pants when I saw the new trailer, but what do arnie mean when he says something about bruce playing in the jungle?

I watched Rambo last night again...now I'm even more excited for this film. Head...going to...explode.
