We've had enough of weak Bourne Identity style talentless lead actors who have no charisma.

Thank you. The problem with Oscar baiters playing action heroes is they never have any fun, they always take themselves too seriously and then everyone always goes on about how real actors can act and action stars can't but it's the action stars that are always quoted. :cmad:

Btw, the official site's been updated with a new look and wallpapers, among other things!:woot:

Oh, and it also confirms that the movie will, in fact, be "R" rated.:whatever:

Action stars are quoted b/c they get one liners to say after they blow something up or kill a bad guy, when more accomplished actors play these roles it gives the chance for film makers to explore the material in a more serious way, personally I think there is room for both, there certainly is on my DVD shelf anyway. :D

True, 3:10 to Yuma is sitting next 48 Hours on my self. But the real actors don't inject much personality into their roles though. Denzel Washington being the big exception, for me anyway, I love his understated nice guys like Eli.

On the related note of action guys and accomplished actors, I seriously hope Terry Crews and Sam Rockwell make a dance movie together.

thinking I might go a week without shaving and chug a couple brewskies before seeing this. :woot:

What do all you manly men think?

good idea? Great idea? BAD ASS idea?.....................

That all depends on how fast your hair grows. Heavy shadow stubble is okay, a "playoff beard" is okay. Magnum PI porn mustache is not, neither is the full Cat Stevens/homeless nutcase beard.

^actually you're right, being Greek my hair grows with the quickness. I'll chop it down to 2 maybe 3 days without, that works

Yeah, I'm shaving on the Wednesday morning. I should have a badass Statham 5 o'clock shadow all day Thursday.

Yeah, I'm Asian. If I want a Statham Shadow by the time the movie starts, I'll need to stop shaving tomorrow. :(

Don't worry. You will most likely grow a beard while watching this movie. I just showed that banner to my friends 4 year old son and he sprouted about seven chest hairs just looking at it.

Hey, my sister grew a beard when she saw the banner. Although we're also Greek, so maybe a bad example.

yea, I didn't like that "only time" part of the trailer either. I'm hoping for sequels if this does well

I assume they only meant Arnold/Sly/Willis together in one scene. But Willis' role is so unspecific that he could have a huge role as either a hero or a villain in the second.

I was hoping they just meant that cast specifically, meaning if there's sequels, not everyone that was in the first will be in the second, third, etc. There may also be new faces as well

regardless, I'm hoping this movie isn't a one time thing and that's it. No more
