The Dark Knight TDK DVD Release Date

I just hope this thing is friggin loaded, like a 3 disc set or something

Agreed, the WB shouldn't even think about double dipping!

I STILL haven't bought Kill Bill. It's either The Whole Bloody Affair or they ain't gettin my money!

Yes i hope it's not a "Play movie, trailer, scene selection and subtitle options" crap like the first batman begins release was. :csad:
Ummm... they had a two-disc deluxe edition... and they're re-releasing it on July 8th.

You must have picked up the single disc.

Man, TDK hasn't came out yet & they're already planning a date for their DVD release. I wish it come out in Oct. or Nov. instead. But that's just me. :D :D

I want a full length feature documentary on the Joker.

Yeah, what happened with that... it was coming out in December, and then it disappeared mysteriously!

It was actually supposed to be out in October. And yeah, no word on if it was pushed back, or cancelled, or anything...****ers :cmad:

Release date's good to me.

For the features, they shouldn't over-mention Ledger's death. Have one short feature for it. Hopefully there's feature about virals.

i want them to release a big ridiculous 3 hour Batman documentry with it...kinda like the Superman one

That would be sweet.

And a Joker documentary going over the history of the character thru the years would be awesome as well.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight on Blu Ray :)

The DVD will have no features just like the initial releases of 'Batman Begins' & 'Superman Returns'. Then a month or two later, it will be released w/ 2 discs w/ loads of extras in an attempt to make us buy two copies.

I got the 2-disc version of BB pretty much soon as it came out over here, and i got all the extras, hmmm.

I hope there will be a nice tribute to Ledger but not too much...there's so much to develop !
Anyway seeing him in the bonus will be weird....I bet it will be there and not during the movie that I'll truely realize: "Man he's not here anymore !!!!":csad::csad::csad:

In the U.S., they 2-disc and 1-discs were released all at once.

I'd be happy for a 'For Heath' at the start of the credits, and a short docu on the DVD extras.

Something on the music please! I love featurettes on the making of the score, and it seems like fewer and fewer DVDs are putting stuff like that on it...

yup that'd be something quite interesting to include imo.

and more interviews with the actors please !!!!!

That's what BB missed !

Same in the UK. I got the 2 disc, along with the comic book, the same day as the 1 disc.

A national newspaper also gave away a 3rd disc free during its initial theatrical release, it contained deleted scenes and all the trailers, something the actual DVDs reglected.

The Daily/Sunday Mirror. It's got the main trailer, the extended final trailer, the Superbowl TV spot, the EA Game trailer, interviews and those deleted scenes.

I expect them to do something similar this year.
