The Dark Knight TDK suit v.s. BEGINS suit

It was when he was in direct light right? Brighter light?

Well all-in-all I was pretty disappointed with the lighting in general for that flick, so there were many times the suit was under bright light imo.

I think making it look like jet-black helps w/ getting rid of the rubbery appearance.

Based on the ONE pic we have of TDK, I would have to say that right at this moment, I like the Begins suit better. But, I might change my mind when another pic or actual footage of the suit is revealed. Angles are everything. I think the new pic is designed to just tease us, IMO its completely different when you see a full frontal.

neither really. both suits have positives and negatives, but if i had to choose, the TDK suit cuz it doesnt look as bulky and seems to have taller ears and shorter forehead. but they both look pretty fugly for batsuits.

From the front page and so, the suit in this pic is the same as the one in begins!

I always saw more of an armor-like quality than an animal-like quality in the Begins suit... being that it is supposed to be armor.

So, looking at the TDK suit, what I see is an upgrade from the Begins suit. That, and from a production stnadpoint, it looks like Bale will be a lot more mobile which should make for some cool scenes.

In short, I like the TDK one better.

I always hated the Begins suit. Sometimes it looked decent under the right lighting and conditions, but most of the time I hated it. I only convinced myself to like it because I thought it was the best we would get. Then the TDK suit came out. So yeah, theres no comparison for me.

Begins, because I've seen it in more situations. And it's smoother and more complete. Pick up this thread later after we've seen more of TDK, right now it's premature to judge.

I don't mind the Begins suit. It worked. I just didn't like the damn neck and how the cowl looked (in certain shots).

It's funny. Looking at those pics together it's almost as if the BB suit is the TDK suit simply made entirely out of rubber rather than the "plating". I mean, the sculpting of the shoulder pads and abdomen seem very similar. Which is good. Really makes it seem as though the TDK suit is just the BB suit Mach 2, and not something completely different.

i mean TDK has a KNIGHT feel to it..very armory..i think its awsome.
the begins cowl squished bales face too much that his cheeks were leaking through.

TDK suit looks more flexible than BB suit, so TDK it is. I don't dislike the Begins suit either.
