Isn't this labeled as a "no discussion" thread?
oh come on, you're JUST NOW pointing this out?
Isn't this labeled as a "no discussion" thread?
I freaking loved it! They had me believe that Tate was NOT Talia for a moment there. Cool stuff.
But I laugh a little that for a movie that tries sooo hard to be a "real movie" toning down the comic book side of things - It had a lot of emotional cheese to it. Some scenes felt a bit like rami's Spidey.
Also some scenes were ripped from BB and TDK. "The moral ambiguity" - when it all falls we are naught but animals concept from the boot scene was repeated in the Football stadium. "One of you has the trigger".
I can also see people make funny youtube videos of the scene with the gunner shooting at Batman before his first fight with Bane.
Next time you watch it try hearing: "You mess with Spidey you mess with all of us" at key points, it's kind of funnyt:
Still I loved it.
Here's hoping that the next series of movies are more Comic booky while still being "badass" and free of drawn out cheese monologs.
I would have preferred that Nolan did not include that part in the movie, also what was Gordon doing with the new Bat Signal ? Does he expect Batman to return ?
This is why I can't stand the n00bs that come out whenever a new movie is released. They post for the sake to b**** and complain then when a poster answers their b****ing with a respectuful and decent response, they'll still b**** and resort to condescending to said poster.

I think the new signal was a gift from Bruce. He seemed surprised when he saw it. Just Bruce's message to Gordon that he was still alive.
I kinda 'hate to ut it tis way, as I don't want to sound like I thought it was crap...I didn't.
But I felt like a good deal of the magic wore off by this third movie.
Yup I had better things to do then post 7000 comments and force myself to love a movie that clearly was sub-par. I did however feel compelled to share my opinion with people - and I'm far from the only one who looked fwd to this for yrs and felt let down.
The guy responded to every single one of your criticisms with a pretty decent retort and rather than try and explain or try to get into an actual discussion about it you resorted to simply condescending insults.
You have an opinion, fine. Doesn't mean you gotta start acting like a brat when some one decides to call out your opinion and your what is in MY OPINION...petty nitpicking.
for me I realized probably when he tossed the gun that Blake was Nightwing. knowing he was Nightwing/Robin made me sure that Batman wasn't going to die when he flew off. why? because there's absolutely no reason why Nolan needed to kill Batman when he gave himself a better resolution with Batman's heir.
as for Rachel, the point is that Alfred wanted Bruce to move on. he was trying to tell Bruce that his father wouldn't have wanted him to dwell on some mythical past but move on with his life. like Bruce, Thomas Wayne lived his responsibilities to the city (and gave his life to the city) but he also lived his life. he was NO LESS COMMITTED to Gotham but he didn't have Bruce's twisted psychosis because he never suffered like Bruce.
Alfred cares about Bruce, not Gotham. the only reason he helped Bruce save Gotham was hoping that Bruce would work through his issues. when it became clear he would not, there was no reason for Alfred to stay. he is consistent in all 3 movies.
Um ok - thank you for clearing things up - have you ever considered taking a ph.D in ********?? Because you're a stellar candidate for one - just submit this nonsensical diatribe and your qualifications will speak for itself.
I loved it. Saw it twice already, and I think it was just as good, if not better the second time around. Everything about this trilogy makes me so happy to be a Batman fan.![]()

I'm curious about one thing. TDKR has gotten some really great reviews lately on RT ranging from 8 to 10 with many 9's and 10's in there. So why is the average rating not changing at all? [Quote/]
Either the ratings change based on time, or they round the averages.
Also, I'm confused by this thread. So it's another spoiler thread, but there is no discussion just postings of spoilers? Oops did I break some rule lolt:
Great film, need to see it again. May go tonight. Great Superhero movie. Batman was great, though I don't like that he was so wounded and stuff from all his fights and had the body of a pro-wrestler in his 60s (bad joints, no cartilage).
Also, um how is this guys suit so high tech, but it can't stop a knife? I wouldn't have minded if he faked that he was wounded and then got up or something, but c'mon. He can't have a fully padded/armored suit and still be able to turn his head??? Sorry, that's making the man too vulnerable IMO. You should not be able to stab batman unless his suit is really torn up and there are holes lol.
