If iceman was to lead on a new team who would it be and why? I myself would give him a bunch of rookies and have him try and train while taking them on local missions.

and he would teach them all about accountancy for when they start up new branches of X-Corp. they'd basically aid other mutants in a non-hero capacity.

Okay, I'll bite...

I say since he's in charge, and an elemental, he should use Mercury, Magma, Rockslide, and for kicks, Glob Herman.

He's already been given the short end of the stick, in terms of action, so I'd put people on his team that would give him inspiration to use his powers more creatively (with the exception of Rockslide).
