I think they should have included dogs with voice collars to this movie. It would have helped the profits immensely.

it should reach 100 million by the end of next week

While I didn't love the movie, I hate to see it do this poorly. I would have liked to see where they went with the next movie.

the only thing left to save this movie is the international market. i think there's a bigger market worldwide than museum. but i could be wrong.

But Sony always delays their releases, so it will open close to Transformers, that paramount releases almost at the same time in most places, so...

It will have only 3 weeks here before TF...

Where's the promo? They couldn't pay for a spot during the MTV awards? It really would've helped

Wow, with the box-office death of Salvation we now have another incompleted franchise entry to accompany The Golden Compass on the irrevelent pile. They both are unfinished stories, with little reason to see them other than to gain a basis for future stories. Now, without sequel opportunities, they simply exist to disatisfy future generations.

With The Golden Compass, you can turn to the books which will always be better than any film.

Its doing pretty damnwell in its tiny os runs so far. I will die laughing if overseas somehow makes this a 500 million grosser.

If t3 could only do 430 million WW....This will barely make 300 WW

I'll be honest. I'm a Terminator fan and even I think they should just end it here.

Thats not going to happen. I'm s**t at international numbers but I doubt it does much more than T3's 283mil. Lets say (I don't think it will) that it does 300mil internationally and, a best case 140mil here.

Thats only 440mil total...It's not making 500mil...sorry.

While I enjoyed Salvation I agree. I agree because of the fear of what they may do with it. Just thinking what Salvation was about to be originally makes me cringe. If anything remotedly similar to what the Catwoman writers wanted to do with Salvation will end up in the future sequels, I much rtaher them to end here

Well, I guess even with the lackluster gross, there is some good news...the weekend actuals came in and TS came in higher than Drag Me to Hell and placed third for the weekend.

Yay! now it's saved.

Drag Me to Hell was actually a good movie and probably didn't cost 200mil, so I take comfort in that.

I know...I'm just saying....:csad:

And I actually thought both were good.:oldrazz:
Alright.:oldrazz:

As I said I didn't hate the flick but I didn't feel that it was good enough to sustain the series.

It's time to treat it like old yeller and shoot it dead.

No, I still think there's a story to be told. We know the war has to get worse before it gets better. Just get better writers for the sequel that'll never happen.

I believe it'll happen, maybe not anytime soon, but it'll happen since it's stupid for them to leave it the way they did. They should definitely continue the story and just fast forward to 2029.
