I thought that there was an interview where it said there were plans to revive her without the Phoenix.

No, he said he doesn't think she can stand as a character without the Phoenix and no one wants to deal with the Phoenix again.

Cyclops and Jean need to STAY split up. If she comes back and they get put together, that would be the dumbest and most unoriginal move I've ever encountered. Whats the pointof them being together NOW?

They should get back together, but not immediately. Let there be slight friction and let Cyclops begin to feel old feelings for his wife.

I dunno, have Jean hook up with some else. Her and Wolverine would be cool...would definitely get under Scott's skin.

Because, even though he is with Emma now, you can tell that he'll always love her. And if she ever comes back, Phoenix-free, he'll begin to fall in love with her again.

Who hates Jean? If anything, people have lost their respect for her character. If nobody wants her back, that doesn't mean they "hate" her.

Right, not wanting a character around isn't the same as hating that character. Bishop and Jubilee are the kinds of characters people hate.

I do not hate Bishop. he is actually my favorite. the only character i truly hate is Kitty Pride

I don't get it. Jean dies and comes back to life and everyone loses respect for her, but when other characters die and return, it isn't criticized as heavily.

Yes, there have been writers who did not know how to write Jean, and the character has suffered because of it, but to what character has that not happened to? Writers favor characters and ignore others.

All X-Men needs is a character who understands Jean Grey and can write her accurately. Endsong was an amazing Phoenix story, why not try to get Greg Pak on board?

All I'm saying is that because of Jean's numerous revivals in the past is no reason to axe her from the comics forever.

Because her (first) death was so important. Every revival since then is like a DPS caliber notch against the character.

eh, I'd like to see her back. I don't like quick resurections, but if they remain dead for a long while, then it's nice to have them back (such was the case with Colossus).

The only character that was resurrected that REALLY got under my skin, and I can't take anything with her very seriously since then to this day is Aunt May. That was just horrible.

I love Bishop. Jubilee is alright. Don't hate her, but don't love her either. I liked her up through Generation X, but after that she's just been written "blah." I thought for sure she'd be part of the new New Warriors, but with Sofia and Beak in there, I doubt they'd throw a 3rd X-Character in.

Well, new previews for the next issue has Wolverine apparently recognizing whoever the character of Wondra is when she's shown on tv. Plus one of the other characters coming up is rumored to be Chamber after his Apocalypse cult makeover.

Not totally, apparently his name is going to be Decibel with powers obvious to that name. Plus he still has that apocy-lips look.

God i miss Chamber. And skin..and Synch..not so much Husk....The Generation X character sooo got the shaft...raw and diseased infected. Penance was the Sh_it...as was Mondo....and Jubilee...M was ok, as were her sisters...Artie and Leech were cool too...I think Gaia could be a dues ex machina(however its spelled) if used right. then there was that Torres chick that showed up for two issues...she had a cool power...she was Skin's ex. damn i miss that comic

Generation X was one of my alltime favorate comics. Synch, Chamber, and Skin were just an awsome male cast. I liked Husk (M bored me and Jubilee was alright). Penance was just freakin' sweet! If there was one person I would bring back if I could it'd be Synch (though Ben Reilly would be a close second). Generation X.... it just so rocked. I loved it so much... I even loved the movie... and that's blind loyalty if ever I saw it!

That caught me by total surprise, and I'm stoked about it. It's sad that Loners is only a mini, but here's hoping it becomes an ongoing and Penance gets back in the spotlight.

Yeah, she's up and about all on her own, but the writer has hinted that someone is inhabiting her body again.

Speedball is essentially Emoball, and now a member of the new Thunderbolts, hunting down unregistered heroes. Really, it's not a good thing.
