I haven't read X-Men in like...well, forever! I picked up most of the Essentials over the summer and read those, but as far as this new stuff is concerned it's news to me.

Though I am reading ES, I guess that, coupled with MC is the best way for me to get back on track.

I'm still getting used to the fact that the Uncanny X-Men team has changed so dramatically from Giant Size X-Men #1. No, really.

I really like Rockslide. i enjoy that cocky jock persona he has...i will be sad to see him die...but i think if the kids have their numbers dwindled again..he could be one of the ones to go...even tho..Kyle and Yost are BOTH fans of the character....Anole...im really indifferent towards him

but with Nezhno getting to play with the big leaguers....perhaps Rockslide is the one to go...unless Nezhno graduates and becomes a member of Cyclops' non inclusive elite x-squad that he is undoubtedly going to form and command in the aftermath of this

But I would be glad to see Cyke step up from a tactical and moral point of view, that's what really separates the leader and the warrior.
And you know how much Claremont likes to exaggerate characters and turns the whole plot into a soap opera.

I wonder how big a part the factioning of the X-men will play during the crossover. Theres a lot of potential in stories about power struggles within the X-men since everyone and their uncle has tried their hand at leading at one point or another.
