Just got done reading the issue.

Wow easily the best MC issue yet. Intense from start to finish. I seriously can't wait to see how this whole thing wraps up.

Layla trapping herself in the past was a completely shock. Did not see that one coming. Those panels were pretty freaking intense. The Mystique/Gambit/Sinister moment was also pretty badass. I'm wondering though like you guys if Gambit intentionally led the X-men to the location and if he was in on Sinister's "death". With the way Mystique was talking, it seems like it. Im really glad that Gambit is starting to get more play as the series is wrapping up. Thats what I've been waiting for.

I wish the predator X story wasn't a part of MC.

It has served absolutely no purpose whatsoever. lol

Like almost everything Milligan established, should be gone FOREVER. No one cares where he is. I'm sure he just wandered off into limbo after the whole "Blood of Apocalypse" fiasco, because no one at the mansion wanted him around.

As for Gambit and Mystique...

That doesn't mean they can't work together. And Gambit certainly didn't seem to be enjoying his time with Mystique in that panel. He was short with her back in #204 too, but at the same time they certainly seemed to be plotting something then. Gambit doesn't even like some of the X-Men, but that never stopped him from working with them.

Fingers crossed it isn't Jean Grey's return. Didn't Cable say it's a girl when they were eating? And it has red hair in this latest issue...

Btw, where's Rogue? The Marauders had her, she woke up briefly when Gambit spoke to her, but last we saw her, she was losing her identity completely to the millions she absorbed and thus going insane. Her powers are out of control to the point that a slight touch is instant-death now too last I saw.

But I seriously hope it is NOT Jean.

While a novel idea, there was an awful lot of blood on the ground there... Last time I checked Rogue's absorption powers didn't cause that.

I mean, it's wild speculation on my part... all I know is that it is a twist what happened to Sinister... Rogue's been gone awhile... and she hasn't done anything for this whole arc.

I mean there are tons of other ideas we could come up with... guess we'll know in a week.

Anyone else got any ideas what might have happened to him?

I wouldn’t call that hair blond. At least strawberry blond. Trust me. I know hair.

1) Gambit questioning why Bishop would turn on the X-Men was a good way for the character to question his own actions. How much does Sinister trust that he and Gambit are on the same page?

I don’t think Sinister trusts anyone much. The guy’s so powerful, I don’t think he’s too scared of betrayal.

- Nobody cares about Lady Mastermind getting shanked!?

- I knew that dupe was gonna die, just didn't expect it to be like that.

- Sinister looked like the chick in the closet from The Ring
