Nobody sells one cup of rice, one portion of vegetables, one 6oz chicken cutlet, etc...even if they did, the price for buying more would be cheaper compared to one in the long run...aka buying in bulk. So, after you open the package, you must eat that food or it will spoil. I personally hate eating the same friggin thing 2-3 times in a row so some goes to waste for me. I also don't like reheating certain foods because they just taste nasty after being cooked, chilled, and then cooked again.I bought mushrooms, carrots, lettuce, brocolli, cucumbers, and chicken Monday to make a few salads. Now I would have to eat 4-5 salads in the span of this week or some of those things will go bad. I can't eat 5 salads for dinner every day this week because I must have variety.
