i hate eating popcorn that isn't fresh. ya know, the kinda that's been sitting in there for hours. ew.

There was a lady in front of me at the grocery store yesterday who had the walking cane and the "I'm going blind" glasses on. She was horribly obese and was riding one of those electric scooters the stores provide for people to get around. She was making a VERY big deal out of telling anyone and everyone within earshot how her feet hurt because she has the DIABETES! And her eyesight is going because of her DIABETES! And she just feels AWFUL, because of her...anyone?....anyone?....yes, exactly Terrence, her DIABETES!!!! I finally had enough and pointed at her little haul of "groceries" and said "Maybe if you bought something besides Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, a gallon of ice cream, gummi worms and cigarettes you wouldn't have so much trouble with your DIABETES!!!!" She called me insensitive as she swiped her EBT card to "pay" for her "groceries". I absolutely do not have sympathy for people who create their own misery and then complain about it, seeking sympathy.

If you're going to sneak food in, at least have the courtesy to throw it in the garbage after. I've only had to clean the theatres after once, and was appalled by how much garbage people just leave on and under the seats....

So, going back to what people were saying a couple of days ago about how much it is going to the theatres where I live.

I took my best friend, myself and my oldest daughter out to see Hulk today (matinee prices) for the tickets and 2 meals it came to 47.00.

matinee price is 7.99 for an adult, 6.99 for a child....regular prices are 10.99 and 9.99.

My matinee prices are $6.50. I remember when they use to be $3.25 ...Regular prices at night are $8.50, they went up a whole dollar from last year!

But then again, this is for the good theater in my town. The other theater is cheaper, and their snacks are way cheaper, but it's an over all crappy theater with poor sound, scratches on the screen, uncomfortable seats and roaches

This is the price of the one I go to, but it's a a nice new one with a cavernous lobby with a chandelier and big stadium seat theaters. An older one in town with a lot more, smaller theaters is $8 or $9 for regular tickets. All you people with $6 normal tickets suck, the last time any theater around here was that cheap was in the 90s. Matinee tickets haven't been that cheap for 4 or 5 years.

Ours is like that too, newly renovated and really nice.....I also remember about 4 or 5 years ago having the matinees at 5.00....oh how sweet those days are.

I honestly can't stand the popcorn chewing, the drink banging/straw raping, the nacho cheese smell... All of it, I'm there to watch a movie, not be in a frat house.

Add people who don't follow the one-seat buffer rule, too. They should be banned.

I would still. You see, that was my concern with theater dates. It's not I don't have any interest in making out with the woman beside me, it's just that I paid to see the film. I didn't pay to make out with some girl in some uncomfortable seats, with old people around me.
