Timothy Dalton

Exclusive: Zack Snyder Eying Timothy Dalton For Alfred In Batman/Superman

This would be consistent with the re-imagined character as portrayed in "Beware the Batman". Dalton has experience playing an MI-6 agent (for crying out loud, he was James Bond) so it would be a perfect fit playing playing Bruce Wayne's bodyguard/butler.

Although that site is unreliable, I've been wanting Tim Dalton or Sam Neill for Alfred for a long long time.

That would be intresting casting.

I just hope there's no reimaging of alfred.reimaigng things was my big problem with man of steel.

Tommy Lee Alfred?

If he gets cast it's nothing but blind, stupid, simple, doo-dah clueless luck! :hehe:

after all the big mistakes he made when choosing the right roles, which eventually led to his retirement, i think this role could potentially bring him out of it...

Connery has been looking pretty frail lately

Ha. I didn't even know that. I'd think he'd be a cool choice and can bring a little bad-assery to the role. But I also think there are a lot of other capable actors as well.

Agreed. Just need to get someone who can be the father figure Alfred is while showing off his awesome wit.
