It would be an easy way to have Ezra never return for another film.I have a feeling the first line in the trailer is at the end of the movie and Barry decides to stay in the Burtonverse.
Just think Keaton was going to be the new DCEU Batman with Batgirl at his side. But Keaton Batman isn’t stuck in an outside universe is he? Barry goes to the Burtonverse
I never quite understand the "looks liek a videogame" rhetoric that gets thrown around. All these dang cbms have videogame-y effects to some degree. Its kind of the nature of the beast. And it also doesnt the mean the movie's gonna be bad. Just look at Black Panther, a freaking fantastic movie with lots of REALLYYY rough unfinished cgi in its third act.
But Keaton Batman isn’t stuck in an outside universe is he? Barry goes to the Burtonverse
Not really. We’re gonna have barely anything about Barry’s life in Central City. There’s way more to Flash than just going back in time to undo his moms murder. But there’s never been a movie all about that and that’s what I thought Muschietti was doing. But no.And here's the thing, even though theres a lot going on here, it still VERY much looks like a movie centered on Barry/Flash. Barry's emotional journey to save his mother is going to be the core of this film, just like the Flashpoint animated film.
I showed my dad this trailer and he was completely surprised by Keaton. He was like "wait a minute is that...who i think it is?!"

And we all know the underwater suit should be white and black… or yellow lol;The idea that Keaton's Batman had two suits before the '89 original is just silly, considering he's prettymuch just started in that movie. Though, I appreciate the nods to comic history.
But in spite of Keaton Batman having killed, the idea of him actually carrying handguns just seems wrong.

Look, the MCU gave extra VFX time and more VFX budget to Infinity War & Endgame, that's why BP looked the way it did in the third act. This movie has been in post-production for what feels like years. So yes, you can bail out this movie and say "that's the go-to criticism of all movies these days" but that simply should not apply to these DC movies that haven't been rushed, aren't associated with a bloated slate (where VFX teams are stretched extremely thin), and have been in post for this long. It's entirely fair to criticize this movie for looking like crap, not even from a VFX standpoint alone, but the suits all look incredibly terrible. Something about that Batman cowl on Keaton doesn't look right. The Flash suit is just a complete dud. It's a visual eyesore from top to bottom in this trailer. The story intrigues me though, I really enjoy the elements of MoS being included here, and Calle looks great as Supergirl so I'll hold off a final verdict until I see more, but this concerns me just as much as Spider-Man: No Way Home did before the movie came out. Wherein we have completely unique visuals from respective universes (Burton/Snyder) that are being melded into this "Muschietti" universe that looks fairly bland so far.I think It’s a go-to critique w these films because it usually is pretty apparent. The CGI is iffy here, but not really in a cartoony way imo, but an unfinished way. Everything else here looks good imo. The camera work has vitality. The action looks distinct. The emotional crux of it all seems hefty. I don’t like some of the design work or some of the lighting here and there, but it’s mostly pretty cool.

Definitely. This feels like the Flashpoint Paradox animated movie, with Keaton's Batman in the Thomas Wayne role and Sasha's Supergirl in the skinny Superman role.
