Yes, but...how does Ezra Miller make you feel, Rorschach?
Like I said in the post you didn't read, I don't hate the guy. I like him in other movies! He was miscast as Barry Allen. Being a good actor doesn't mean you're right for every comic book character. Case in point: Amy Adams...Yes, but...how does Ezra Miller make you feel, Rorschach?
Yeah, I definitely can't see that.I doubt WB is going to pit this against Black Panther 2 (which is obviously on track for February 2021).
He was introduced in BvS. He cameo'd in Suicide Squad. He was a co-star on JL.Im done man I cant even rationalize anymore what WB is doing with there characters. The flash is a no brainer yet it
Keeps getting delayed and now it may
Not even begin production next year at all. You mean we have to wait almost 5 years after justice league to get a flash solo movie? Could you imagine black panther getting introduced in civil war then making people wait almost 5 years to see him again?
Just as DC’s comic-book-film franchise was struggling to win respect after such panned outings as “Man of Steel” and “Suicide Squad,” Gadot came to the rescue. The actress — previously most familiar from recurring roles in the “Fast and the Furious” franchise — stepped so confidently into Wonder Woman’s iconic boots that she stole the show in her first appearance in “Batman v. Superman,” before injecting heroism and heart into “Wonder Woman,” DC’s most unmitigated success to date and a groundbreaking female-led tentpole. Down the pike, she’ll continue to embody the DC movie-verse’s best self with “Wonder Woman 1984” and an untitled “The Flash” project, but she’ll always find time for surefire hits such as fall 2018’s “Ralph Breaks the Internet.”
Gal Gadot
Wonder if that ties in with those rumours that WW84 is going to play with the timelines.
That would make more sense.Could be. And so the rumours were wrong about WW84 being the movie to do it, could be the Flash movie instead.
I understand why they would do it but in hindsight it feels so unnecessary - a course correction in 2021 after say what, 10 movies as a way to explain recasts and tone correction - had they just gave each hero an ounce of respect and didn't chase avengers size money.
Still, if it means we get decent films, good... it's just a shame it's taking so long.
I can’t find anything about Dr. Light being the villain?I like Ezra but I don't think he's right for this role. And I really don't think this movie is going to happen. The most recent rumors didn't sound very good to me either. Dr. Light as the villain? Of ALL the great Flash villains they could use?
I'd give Ezra another shot to prove me wrong, but from what I've seen, I'm not feeling it.

This exactly.Ezra is a great actor and character to have attached to a movie, but, the flash from the comics, he is totally wrong for, however, i enjoyed his portrayal when i just based it on what i saw and not what i was expecting.
Have you seen Game Night? In JL The Flash seemed to have been mainly used for comedy, which lead to him being bumbling and awkward and not as smart as we'd expect Barry Allen to be.
I think this is primarily due to the reshoots focus on making the film lighter. The Barry Allen we got glimpses of in SS and the early JL trailers seemed a lot better. I don't think it's the actor, but the writing/direction.
This is why I'm a little worried about Daley and Goldstein being given the reins.
