I have just suddenly become interested in this movie. :woot:

YAAAAAAAAAAAS. :atp:

They have a solid relationship with Warner Bros. I really hope they consider doing this instead of Spider-Man #200.

My nipples just tightened.

Yes fans wanted them for Spider-Man and assumed because of their relationship with Sony that that wish might come true. But all of the rumors say that Sony wants them for Ghostbusters.

Obviously I'm a big Spider-Man fan but I'd prefer they do Flash.

Almost too good to be true. These guys have always been my pick since the rumors of a Gl/Flash movie a while back. Even if it's just the story treatment, that's a win. I think a Flash movie should feel like the Lego Movie of the superhero space.

They seem a good fit for Flash, not least of which is of course the tone of the Lego Movie but that heart melting live action part as well... I just wish there were some details on what's IN that treatment and which version of Flash we are getting?

Won't be more problematic than Green Lantern or Cyborg.
All the make up and CGI involved in those two...
At least they won't leave disappointment after a few seasons of a fun show.

Outside of BvS, Suicide Squad, and a solo Batfleck movie, The Flash is the DCU movie I'm most excited for.

I think they might do like the show, and don't make him fight the Flash head on, or involve him more with Suicide Squad.
But if the rogues team-up, I'd love to see what he would do facing Flash.

Well in order to join the rogues, he's going to need to have a established grudge against the Flash.

I doubt Boomerang would join the Rogues, let alone go after the Flash, without having a legitimate reason to do so.

I'd say Reverse Flash would be a better villain to start the series with. Yeah, they'll be comparisons to the series, but he's the most dynamic and cinematic villain of his rouges Imo.

As long as he does some of the classic Flash moves like vibrating through objects, and creating gail force winds by spinning his arms, running on water, and eventually traveling through time, some of these examples and more will be enough to separate him from the others despite whatever effects they decide to use.
The yellow lightning is what's always going to be different, and perhaps some thunderous sonic-booms for when he kicks it into high gear. But just like with all the heroes with super-strength or flight, the way to set Flash's superspeed apart and impress audiences is for Snyder to use creative, effective camera angles and to put Flash in memorable situations.

There's a ton of ways to do this with Flash. Flashpoint Paradox alone has a ton of creative shots, especially in the Reverse Flash fight and the ending scene.

I really want to see something akin to the behind the back shots of Spidey swinging through traffic (in between the semi-truck) in one of the Raimi movies. It should be like a roller-coster ride, with Flash navigating between cars, hopping over obstacles, and wall-running, saving people along the way, while we're right there with him.
All this!!!
I think color would be a cool way to show speed. Usually movies focus on simply moving something slow vs fast, but I think showing how Flash sees things would be cool. Certain colors become intense and other dull.
:hmm
I had this idea that I thought could possibly look pretty cool.

I would have Supes and his opponent fighting in real time with everything around them moving slowly and then The Flash and his opponent would fly past at an even faster speed causing Supes and co to be in slow motion also. 3 levels of slow motion!
I would have a robbery or an accident and Superman just can't get on time, then he sees something faster than him. The effects on seeing that would be priceless. And it was rumored that it's indeed a scene filmed in BvS.
they're tailored made for Flash.
I hope they direct this...

Can't wait to see Flash kicking his butt.

I agree...

Maybe he was defeated and incarcelated by The Flash and ended in Belle Reeve because of him
