Who do you guys think the villain for the film be? I think it's going to either be the rouges or reverse flash
When IGN caught up with Jai Courtney to talk all things Insurgent, they asked the Australian actor whether or not he's had chance to suit up as Captain Boomerang yet, and it sounds like the villain will definitely be one of the Suicide Squad's more unique members. "I’ve had a few fittings, but the costume is in development as we speak," he teased. "It’s not going to look like anything that’s been done before, and I think this whole world will look a lot different than anything else." Seeing as all of these villains must have prior history with superheroes - or at least the law - to be locked up in Belle Reve, the site quizzed Courtney on the chances of him making some sort of appearance in The Flash starring Ezra Miller. Sadly, he wouldn't give anything away! "I’m not withholding anything, but that is a dialogue that hasn’t been opened yet," is all he would say. It would definitely be interesting to see that sort of crossover, but The Flash is still a long way off so it's hard to doubt his claims that that hasn't even been discussed. What do you think?
He should be really powerful, easily more powerful than the TV series version.Reverse Flash would make sense.
I wonder how powerful they're going to make Flash for this DCCU.
I can see him being part of the rogues, but I prefer they keep that bunch for a sequel.Would you like him to be in the Flash as part of the rogues?
For the 2 or 3 lads reading this thread: I want to get into The Flash comics, what do you guys recommend for someone who has never read a single issue?
There's only so many ways (that we know of) that they can film a guy running at super speed lengths.
I wonder if this is a close representation of what Flash's speed/effects will look like on film...

I think color would be a cool way to show speed. Usually movies focus on simply moving something slow vs fast, but I think showing how Flash sees things would be cool. Certain colors become intense and other dull.

I had this idea that I thought could possibly look pretty cool.
I would have Supes and his opponent fighting in real time with everything around them moving slowly and then The Flash and his opponent would fly past at an even faster speed causing Supes and co to be in slow motion also. 3 levels of slow motion!
t: I realy enjoyed the New 52 Flash books, that would be a good starting point too if you're trying to get into the characterThanks Old Pa Krypton, I'm going to check those out.
