i'm thinking its more webb wanting to make the sequel bigger

connors may have a cameo in this film from what i heard so there are alot of connections linking it to 1st film

I'm saying that because of the costume change and the fact that it takes place a whole lot more in the day than at night like the last one.

The direction to me seemed pretty solid. All the lead actors gave great performances, and there was an obvious attention to subtle moments that fly over some people's head. The script was most likely completed before Webb jumped aboard, so really he had no say in where the film would go, all he could really do was set a tone. The movie felt pretty organic, the only things that felt out of place were crane scene and football post scene, but mostly everything else was pretty well done. I definitley think Webb will improve on the action aspect with this movie, due to the type of villian(s) this movie will have, they'll allow for a lot of variety in action set pieces. This movie is likely to be different than the last one though due to new writers and almost an entirely new crew. The things that will hopefully will be improved in this movie will be the editing, which hopefully the movie will be allowed to be longer than the last so that it gets room to breathe, and better staged action scenes, and a better written plot. I think this movie might have more of a lighter tone than the last one. Hopefully the writers were able to
balance everything out and not make the plot too convulated.

That's not entirely true. Webb has stated in interviews that the story was started from scratch by the time he signed on to direct. Aspects like the parents story, Peter being an orphan, going back to high school and essentially all of the story arcs had Webb's involvement in some way.

First shot: Spider-Man swinging

Second shot: Oscorp stuff

Third shot: Norman

Fourth shot: "Hi...I"m Harry" (Really hoping for this one)

Fith shot: Norman

Sixth shot: Peter talking to Gwen (dramatic)

7th shot: Electro

8th shot: Tiny glimpse of rhino

9th shot: Max Dillon

10th shot: Electricity flashes into darkness

11th shot: Title

i think for a teaser we will get a 1 or 2 quick shot of electro but its mostly going to be a dramatic voice over by peter with a few shots of peter and spiderman, few shots of gwen, a shot of harry, police cars, oscorp and some other small shots as filler and thats it

not in that order obviously but thats what i can see bein in the first teaser

the official trailer will focus on max/electro abit more i believe

first teasers are rarely ever focused on the villian, usually more so the hero

the dark knight being one that did, but i'm not sure Max is enough of a draw like the joker for people to be amazed by

they will probably wait so they have a longer trailer to explore him

Really? hmmm...going off the interviews it seems like Webb had a lot of input into the story. It's also not entirely clear how early on Webb had met with Sony in discussing his ideas and how he wanted to make the film before he was officially signed on. A lot of the script probably had been written before he signed on, but a lot of the things that eventually ended up in the final script/film were his ideas.

I would expect to see the same.

If you remember from last year, the teaser trailer for ASM featured the same kind of shots...a little bit of everyone, minus the Lizard and a real quick glance at Spidey's new suit.

This time around we'll prob see some shots of Peter, the Bugle, a quick look at MJ, some more Gwen and maybe a hinting at "the promise" prob via voice over, and then a brief shot or two of Max with a possible frame of Electro. And then again, maybe not even a look at Electro yet, just some bolts of electricity rippin' stuff up. That's kinda how I see it playing out.

And as for Rhino, I doubt we'll see anything about him until later this year.

On another topic, Almost a year release from me. I cannot wait for the surprises from this movie.

The first spiderman movie where the things are unpredictable.I just hope it turns out to be good.

You know what, I feel like the trailer will have a bunch of Oscorp stuff. And Harry. Of course Electro/Max mainly, but after that, Oscorp/Harry. I think it'll be the driving force of the film.

I think the teaser will further tease the untold story about his parents etc. Even showing a bit from the plane crash that was filmed early on.

I think the teaser will highlight the plot points mentioned in the first synopsis. So we'll get some shots of Harry, probably the scene where he and Peter "first" meet, some shots of Peter and Gwen with a mentioning of the promise.

We'll also get shots of Max in his apartment and his wall of Spidey pics (essentially the first pic of him) and maybe a shot of his accident and him in times square, post transformation.

As for any action and shots of the suit, we'll probably get a random, non cg shot of the suit and we'll probably gets shots of the chase sequence being filmed this week and next week, as well as a look at the mysterious plane sequence which was the first thing they filmed.

Besides that, we will likely get a few quick shots of MJ and maybe Aleksei, and maybe Feore and Jone's characters (depends on how much they want under wraps to start out). And maybe, MAYBE, after all that, a shot of dying Norman w/ perhaps a voice over regarding Peter's parents.
