Maybe the Rhino is doing his thing, Spidey stops him, "Hmmm, I can't help but feel that I have something important to do today," looks at watch, "Oh crap," swings to the graduation and quickly changes before his name is called.

It would be perfect.

In the first film, the movie kinda established they were Class of 2013, but the viral marketing had them as Class of 2012.

Since he still has his backpack on and he doesn't have on proper pants, I'm thinking something like this is going to happen

The backpack from the first film was a Jansport Slacker. I've got one, myself, so upon further inspection; no. It's not the same backpack.
It's really similar, though. Probably another Jansport.

Check the other photos from Gettyimages. It's the same backpack from ASM with the skateboard straps. It's a nice clue as to when they're graduating I'd say.

I think this graduation scene happens RIGHT after his first encounter with Aleksei.

1. Remember the video we saw of Spidey humiliating Aleksei? Webs his pants down, then victory dances, looks at his watch, and jets? He was probably checking the time for the ceremony.
2. How about the photo Marc tweeted a while back that said "No time for a change" and it was his chucks? In these grad photos you could see he's just wearing shorts..or no pants at all haha. Maybe that's what the tweet was referring to.
