I was sure that he would end up graduating this film, so then part of this film he will be in college and he'll fully be a college student in the third. Good pacing, imo. One trouble I had with the '02 film, even if I really like it, was that they had Peter graduate pretty early instead of easing the pace in that way.

You know, I wonder if Harry is actually older than Peter so when Harry shows up, he's already out of school and maybe starting college while Peter is still in high school and graduates?

I'm guessing this scene is probably very early in the movie? Someone else mentioned it but I do hope this is right after the Rhino battle t:

I think they're the same age but Harry may use an "I was home schooled" excuse for showing up after graduation.

Here's another thing....the way he seems to be somewhat cocky with Gwen during the graduation and how he uses a bullhorn when speaking to Rhino apparently...what if this film starts to somewhat deal with a more cocky Peter in using his powers and that becomes a downfall of his when dealing with Electro?

They're definitely onto an arc with Peter having a cocky attitude, which most probably going to end in Gwen's death.

possibly , because they supousedly break up at the chinatown scene, maybe Electro or Rhino threatened him like he did in USM # 7 or something

This. As Marc said, he'll be a virtuoso with his powers. So, I definitely think we'll see him become overconfident and it'll take for some huge events over the course of this film in order to snap back into reality.

seeing spider-man wearing that graduation hat is so funny for some reason. i almost feel like i've seen it before in the comics.
