A battle at a stadium?

Looks like seating through that gap...

hmmm. if it's a new (battle) location then count me in

Since marc posted a couple of old pics lately, I think that's an old one too

I saw Andrew's audition tapes for TASM on youtube and his hairstyle in them looked better than the movie and close to what a teenager would do

Yeah, agreed. And despite the common belief, the flatter (and a tad nerdier) hairstyle would make Andrew look even younger. Posting pics from other movies to prove me wrong would be useless, with the hairstyle he should also have the clean shave and teenager clothes to complete the illusion

WOW I have missed out on a lot of information in the 6 months I have been away from these boards.

Very excited for this.

Is there any information I should know apart from Electro and Rhino being apart of this??

I did here Vulture would make an appearance.

God I hope not, Villain overload.

CBM confirmed that Colm Feore's role in the movie is Adrian Toomes and that he'd later, possibly in the next movie, become Vulture, but neither of those facts aren't officially confirmed yet. I do believe that Colm Feore's gonna be Adrian Toomes, but also that CBM's confirmation is BS and it'll be just a coincidence if Feore is actually Adrian Toomes

Day 94 - The Arena

Weird. It has the same lighting rigs as the fake TS set but I'm not entirely sure. On a side note, I always get reminded of how huge this movie looks..

Doesn't look as big as MOS, in terms of scope. :oldrazz:

Though I think the one in this film is a tad bit better with shorter hair on the sides

yeah i mean they build a whole huge scale city set for MOS... oh wait that was most likely 70 to 90% Green Screen & CGI :P

Which is even more what Peter's hair is in the comics. While I do think that they should've went for the SSM look in the first one, I'm completely fine that he has the modern Peter Parker hair in this sequel

Andrew was the best possible choice for the role, but I would've prefered a nerdier hair in the first one ("flatter", combed to back from the sides), in line with this for example

don't anyone say that Andrew couldn't put his hair like that, I have seen it almost in that exact position. And yes, Peter does have the TASM hair in comics, but that isn't until the newer age of Spider-Man comics.
Maybe it's because they were trying to model his hair after newer comics. Andrew said in an interview that they looked at comics but also wanted to make it their own. Which they did, and I felt they succeeded at it.

is MoS really being brought up on every board its like The Avengers all over again lol.

The character of Peter Parker has not had one definitive style. He's had almost every style under the sun (no mohwak...yet). The criteria is as follows (short(ish), brown). Done. Whatever is most trendy at the moment is what you'll see. Trying to argue this point would be useless.

MEGATON: The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and 4 dates confirmed, randomly, in the middle of the day
http://www.superherohype.com/news/a...elease-dates-for-3rd-and-4th-spider-man-films

With Sony Pictures Entertainment now in production in New York on The Amazing Spider-Man 2, slated for release on May 2, 2014, the studio is planting its flag on two future release dates for one of the most successful franchises in studio history, it was announced today by Jeff Blake, Chairman, Worldwide Marketing and Distribution for Sony Pictures. The next two films in the story of Peter Parker will be released on June 10, 2016, and on May 4, 2018, respectively.

Commenting on the announcement, Blake said, “Spider-Man is our most important, most successful, and most beloved franchise, so we’re thrilled that we are in a position to lock in these prime release dates over the next five years.”

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci & Jeff Pinkner, with a previous draft by James Vanderbilt, and based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are the producers. The executive producers are E. Bennett Walsh, Stan Lee, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci.

The Amazing Spider-Man took in over $750 million at the worldwide box office last year.

If they're picking up such close dates, I'm guessing they're already picking up scripts and potential directors for the sequels (if Marc Webb leaves).

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3 will be released on June 10, 2016!

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 4 on May 4th, 2018!
