Even if gwen dies in 2 it'd still be a "gwen stacy trilogy" with 1, 2 &3. 3 would still deal with Gwen quite alot even after her death

Yeah that is a good point. I wonder if they will be able to keep hold of Garfield for the future films though, it would do my head in if they swapped actor in the same universe.

Whether he stays for a forth is the thing. I think they can get it out of him. After that, I'd be very doubtful.

i think its open to speculation whether or not gwen will die in TASM2, we know there will be a 4th now after all, and i'm willing to bet Emma stone will be in TASM3 even if she dies in TASM2 (which isn't confirmed), she is most likely signed up for 3 films and they will take her up either way

Yeah I did hear that Stone and Garfield had signed up for three right at the beginning which makes me think Gwen will probably still be around for the 3rd one only to be killed by whoever the villain maybe. (It better be the Goblin)

I'm looking forward to seeing how they bring MJ and Harry into the fold and there relationships with Peter/Gwen in the beginning. Will it be true to the story I wonder??

Probably. It's not like we couldn't guess it anyways.

There's only so many characters she could be and most can be ruled out.

Not Betty because if the Bugle really was in, we'd have heard about JJJ's casting no doubt and its doubtful there would be this much secrecy around just Betty.

Not Jean DeWolffe because there really no way she could fit in this story. She really only comes into play when the mobsters in the Spidey universe come into play.

Not Carly Cooper because its WAAAAY too early for her and would make no sense.

Not MJ because she's in this film and has been cast.

Not an original character because, if she was just an original character, we would know exactly who she was by now.

Mary Parker is a possibility but unless they are going to go back further than in ASM (which would be quite a bit further considering Mary's age in the ASM1 flashback), its unlikely.

Like Giamatti and Feore, her role is being kept under wraps until they're ready to reveal it for a specific reason.

Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat makes the most sense.

I think Goblin should be the lone villain for ASM3 you could bring her in to that one.

I think alot of the character's parts will be small, however, significant in the grand scheme of things.

i think its possible we will see black cat in a future film at some point, obviously she is the catwomen of the spidey world and seeing the 2 of them together could be quite awesome, but who knows maybe we won't see black cat at all in this current franchise, just have to see
