Just really classic framing devices. I didn't come with it. You've got Batman Begins and Sherlock Holmes for the villain cliffhanger if the whole GG thing turns out to be true. He might not attack at graduation now or attack period, but we'll likely get some sign of foreboding doom. And then for ending bleakly with a cliffhanger, you've still got Empire Strikes Back, Pirates of the Carribbean 2 among others. Basically saying, probably sounds 'legit' because it's a classic move to make to entice an audience.

I'm still lost on that whole thing. Does he have a gray backpack throughout the rest of the film? Does he have a blue backpack throughout most of the film then switches? Does it switch at graduation? Might be late, but unsure what was meant by it.

i think the GG thing wont happen anymore sadly cause unless they filmed in studio they wouldnt film a big fight scene with secret enimie out in the open n chris cooper wasnt even there

They don't need to show him fighting. Have him in his lab hunched over or something like a Thanos shot. The audience knows who he is, word would likely spread by the time the third movie comes about what his larger role now means. It's enough for that gloom and doom enticement trick. Something as simple as a Joker card even works.

Especially since I think they'll go this route:

Which even a shot, if rumors on GG are true, would suffice for those shivers of doom.

So, while the graduation fight is out -- if the rumors are true -- we'd be looking at some other form of cliffhanger similar to Begins or Holmes.

With announcements of more Spidey films, it sounds way too early for that. They'll likely go with Harry discovering after Goblin's dead.

The blue one is the old one but from goin from set pics he has it as long as he is in HS which looks like it just goes to graduation would be early just from goin by that, and when he switches its college is what I believe IMO

Whereas I would view graduation as 'new beginnings' after everything that's just happened, they could be viewing college as that 'end of the old, beginning of something new' instead. God, I'm behind lol. Or if it is the cracked container, that crack just looked like a huge monster broke out of it rather someone human sized since there are cracks on the side and top.

A good bit of scenes while we only see the blue one once and that's the graduation to my knowledge no telling what they shot indoors, but from what I gathered from the first encounter with Alexsei(before Rhino)and the scene where he looks at his watch and appears to be late for something.

I was going to say then it sounds a lot more college bound than I originally thought. But, to play devils advocate, on the same hand unless the film is the kind where we are constantly at a forward pace (months going by) it would seem somewhat off-beat to start with Rhino or lead into Rhino then lead into graduation then quickly maneuver with a couple of scenes (or jump ahead) to a couple of months forward in time to Peter being in college then slow back down that pace of setting; definitely accomplishable I'm just not able to see clearly how that kind of momentum and jumping ahead would work. I could also just be over-thinking it right now.

Wel I havent exactly pieced everything together but I dont likely see Marc jump around like that so its more about what they filmed and are still filming they have yet to reach 100 days of filming and then 50 more. (forgot the day) its hard to tell, but the graduation scene definitely feels like the beginning.

Looking further, being a college film makes sense. College is a time of moving on, leaving the past behind and being able to accept the challenges that are ahead.

Peter is able to deal with his grief over Uncle Ben, he's able to leave it behind and accept the challenges ahead.

Gwen is able to deal with her grief over Captain Stacy or she's trying to and Peter helps her to leave it behind so she can move ahead.

Rhino might be a guy with past grievances which he is unable to let go of, which makes him this guy of tightly round up aggression and fury and he fails because of it.

Electro seems to be unable to move on beyond his mom which is definitely part of his failings and (if I remember her fate) he is unable to let go - showing the negative side of not being able to move on.

Harry possibly might fall too, unable to let go of the past he falls into drugs which is rampant in the city especially among the elite.

While Mary Jane, now seeing that it's college would have been able to leave her abusive father behind and start life anew representing the joys that can come from a fresh new start. (Although she's been deleted).

With the theme basically being, "if you're able to move on from your problems, you will be able to start anew and stronger than before."

College is finding your way. Peter seems to be doing that with his probable continual search into his parents. Gwen would be doing that if she's in the process of letting go of her grief still. Harry would possibly be stumbling along that. And Electro is unable to find his way at all - thus, he is unable to progress and gets halted because of that.

Just basically rambling through new information and possible themes that could be in there or arise. Just diving in from if I was the writer and had all of these pieces, how they might connect together and what the importance of college would mean to that.
