Man there is so much packed into this movie!! Peter, Gwen, Electro, Rhino, Norman, Harry, possible JJJ, possible MJ, possible Betty Brant, possible Vulture, Green Goblin reveal at the end. Let's hope that it will all mesh together well, lol.

JJ is unlikely, MJ has seemingly been cut, and I highly doubt Vulture will become Vulture, it'll probably be a glorified cameo or something, which is why Marc tweeted pics of him. He might be in the final movie for like two minutes. So this movie will most likely have Peter (Main Role), Gwen (Main Role), Electro (Main Role), Aunt May (Side Role), Harry (Side Role), Norman (Side Role), and Rhino (Medium Sized Role). That's 7 charactes, it could work. I think Rhino's section will be about as long as the section where Peter hunts down Ben's killer.

The Dark Knight and Star Trek Into Darkness had more characters than TASM2 will.

Vulture is just a rumor, black cat is just a rumor, and so is green goblin. MJ is cut from the movie, and JJ or the daily bugle will probably have such a small role in the movie if its even in it at all.

I think we can probably now take GG as a given, at least as a brief appearance.

Not quite. I'm not entirely convinced they aren't filming scenes for the third installment this go around. Including but not limited to any scenes with (Gadon as) MJ and any scenes with Goblin.

I think it'd be interesting if partway through the first half of the movie, we see Dr. Ratha wake up in a hospital bed with bandages on his head. And he looks over and sees Osborn in a hospital bed looking at him. His eyesight is fuzzy but he sees Osborn get out of the bed, come over with a pillow and smother him. And thats how we are introduced to Norman Osborn.

Yeah. Hows that for a dark Spider-Man

Genius

I wonder if they are filming 2 and 3 back to back. It just seems that this movie is getting so out of hand.

Maybe, I dunno, my gut tells me it may be for the post credits stinger...

I like that a lot, but I have a feeling more than half of the general audience won't even know or remember who Dr. Ratha is :(

He still says he doesn't have high hopes for the movie. Honestly, I don't take him seriously as a movie critic.
I never do not after last year with his campaign against the reboot. I must have been selectively reading them lol

You know browsing about on these forums I came to conclusion that local residents take everything way too seriously :P I think you should relax a bit and enjoy the movie when it comes out.

Don't know who this guy is or why what he says carries any weight, but he did get one thing right:

The online reaction to Woodley has been, frankly, horrifying, with many male comic book a**holes complaining she wasn't pretty enough - which is simply patently untrue, as anyone who has seen her work knows (and it seems pretty likely that the sort of basement-dweller who complains about the looks of actresses doesn't bother to see smart indie movies).

Well he is wrong i saw many good indie movies, but i dont support Woodley. There is nothing wrong with her, she is probably amazing actress, but she isn't MJ, Amazing 616 or Ultimate, or whatever spidey universe they want put her character. I know actors act to be someone else in movie, but i would probably laughed in her character because it's not possible become someone who you are not. I can act as Clark Kent/Superman, but people would laugh at me as skinny 22 year guy in spandex suit. My act can be perfect, i will wear glasses or rip my t-shirt but noone will take me seriously. Only way is start going in gym and wait for fruits of my labor which is more possible, then she will in 2 months become hottie.
That reporter can say whatever he want in this moment, but if he would maked critic of movie as Woodley is Mary Jane, he would tell us how huge miscast she was and how movie was failed. I am glad Sony and Webb have voice of reason, they're not blind.

If you are trying to say Sony and Webb realised she wasn't right for the part because of her looks then I'm sorry that I thought you might have been in any way intelligent

Webb hired her because he obviously felt she was right for the part, webb and sony had many actresses they could have gone for, they aint stupid, they knew what they wanted when she got the part, they cut her stuff for gwen and peter relationship and I can understand why

@Neno eh idk. You can't say Woodley doesn't fit into any Spider-Man universe.

Someone said that she looks as Carlie Cooper. Well i agree on that, she fit into Spider-Man universe, but not as MJ. I would love too see her in that role.

Well we've never seen her act as MJ so it's hard to judge her fairly. I was fine with her in the role, and was looking forward to seeing her take on the character.

My head is spinning. Too much stuff.

I've never had this much anticipation for wanting to see a teaser for a movie than this one. SDCC can't come soon enough.

I guess you could say that I'm happy about the fact that Devin has a positive outlook. I agree with him 110% about the Woodley situation. You sick, sexists comic book purists have ripped her to shreds. It makes you look like *******s.
