maybe he will attack once and throughout the film peter is wondering who it is but has other villians to deal with and a gud cliff hangar would be after the credits peter if flying around the city after hearing reports of a man on a glider flying around spidey cuts thru an alley n then at the opening off the alley its put in slowmotion n u c GG fly by with gwen over his shoulder screaming help n then you hear peters spidey sense tingle n it ends and piks up on that scene in the beginning of tasm 3

They won't end the movie on that kind of cliffhanger; that's the kind of thing that happens in a television series, not a film.

and also i think it has to b at end if GG is 2 appear but my bets r also in the begining for grad like when he beats paul in the vid when hes dancing he looks at his watch

Yes, we've seen that pic. Peter is late for graduation, this is probably right after the Rhino chase since in that clip he was checking out his watch and then ran off like he just remembered something.

I still don't know why you think this is the climax of the film

Haven't been checking in and the original premise we all got read like it was all leading up to that moment. Thus, facing ghosts then learning to overcome and move beyond.

Also unsure if it's even GG now and unsure who "other adversary" is unless that means Harry (way future) or Norman?

When did the graduation become the climax of the film? Where does it say that?

He just said "Uh Oh, things I was told a couple weeks ago are coming to light with confirmation" - he didn't say it involved the scene he was an extra in, just talk he heard in general.

Or am I misunderstanding his post?

No, you're understanding correctly...for some reason you guys are stirring superfluously.

And in what way does mentioning "caps and gowns" lead to freaking Green Goblin...just...come on haha!

i believe it's because he is linking the GG stuff from today to the scene that spidey93 was an extra in, albeit too strongly/bluntly/literally.

Trust me when I say this: this film will not end on a 'television cliffhanger'.

i knooooow im not doubting you but now im considering that norman will be at grad n look suspicious

Yeah. I read through it fast and didn't hear the "things told" part for whatever reason, but now it makes sense.

Also as per cliffhangers -- look at what they did for Nolan's batman films. Also look how Batman Begins ended "JOKER CARD." Then you have the one in MOS. Then don't forget Sherlock Holmes with Moriarty. Clliffhangers work and don't come off as television cliffhangers if you're a good writer which I'd say Kurtzman and Orci are more often than naught are.

@Ulrimatehero: Leaving things unresolved isn't a 'television cliffhanger'. If Goblin shows up in this movie and kills Gwen, we will see it happen; the movie won't end with Gwen in the Goblin's clutches.

I never stated that Goblin would kidnap Gwen, Alba stated that - I was the one who said that wouldn't happen.

What I said was Goblin comes in searching for Peter or his son Harry, something big goes down, and either Gwen dies or she lives and the Goblin gets away with signs of darkness looming in the roads ahead. This would mean Gwen's death instead of the bridge would be placed at the graduation by other means. Main thing being -- after graduation, everything isn't so bright and happy we have ESB coming.

@atiba probably neither. definitely not green goblin. no reports of cooper being on set that day either.

i would drop the idea of norman being at graduation lol. i regret mentioning it as a possible alternative to gg flying in, which itself was meant to show that leaping to the latter conclusion was not economical.
