I have real trouble believing one word of the GG description. I may not agree with a lot of the decisions they made with TASM series so far, but what they've produced so far is still leagues better than that nonsense rumour.

Well think of it guys. Would Marc Webb's Spider-Man universe really have a clothed, costumed goblin with a hood? Purple and green.
Think of everything we know this universe to be so far.

Would it still have a sixty-something year old with spiked up green dyed hair?

Well think of it guys. Would Marc Webb's Spider-Man universe really have a clothed, costumed goblin with a hood? Purple and green.
Think of everything we know this universe to be so far.

I don't think any Spider-man film would realistically have an as comic accurate suit for Green Goblin as Spidey has. It just doesn't translate well since even in the comic it looks like a silly halloween costume. Realistically the options for adaptation are an armoured suit that is inspired by the suit or an Ultimate Goblin (the latter not being the preferred option imo).

I can buy them going for an armoured look, but the motocross armour, spiked green hair (especially on Cooper) and the bluetooth spock ears just sounds more than a bit batty.

If this is true it might be something that in reality looks better than it sounds. That whole "On paper it shouldn't work..." sort of thing. Hopefully we'll get set pics, though this will probably be kept hush hush (if it's even true). This description is going to cause shockwaves of rage though, that's for sure, even if it isn't true.

Ha doubt that. I meant in subject of the armor. I could totally see them going the armor route in this universe. Kinda like the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon but...not as ugly.

Well these are all rumors..but agree with the bold. Especially with Marc's universe.

I imagine like the first film at comic-con we'll see some unfinished footage. If they do show some stuff it will be interesting to see what changes between then and the release of the film. I still wish they kept the Lizard's snout.
