I'm not going to lie, I wanted to see the Green & Yellow costume with the Lightning Star-Face mask. I'm Royally Disappointed.

I dislike the classic Electro costume just as much as the next guy but at least it's vibrant and not totally stock like the ultimate suit. I'm doing disappointed because I didn't get the exact original costume from the comics, I'm disappointed because they didn't do a variation on it.

Maybe the TSSM Electro costume isn't in everyone's taste, but at least it proves that variations can be done where it can be made look cool and practical

Yeah, just like Harry would don the classic GG suit at the end of SM3, just like Cyclops would come back for the climax of X3, just like Wolverine would get his comics suit in XMOW.

According to reports, it looks like it's going to be exactly how Electro was in the first issues of USM, except an updated version if that black suit, and of course he's blue instead of yellow. A bit plain, sure. But lets wait for it.

that's how i feel. If his colors at the very least were represented, then i'd be much happier. But I don't think Blue Electro looks like "electro". upon glances at him he looks like he could be Dr. Manhattan, Iceman, Mr Freeze, sure.... but the Ultimate "Blue" Electro look doesn't have any familiarity what so ever to anyone but the minute (at this point) Ultimate readers.

as for it being a "cool" look, well yea... neon blue always looks cool, that's not really a shocker, it just doesn't look like electro

well.... the unfortunate part of all this means that ...

1) While 616 nick fury does not look like ultimate (which is understandable because they wanted a big name, and wanted to use Sam since ultimate nick was actually based on the guy) they did create a Son of Nick Fury in 616 who DOES fit the Avengers Sam Jackson Fury. So 616 black fury does exist now

2) the unfortunate side of this means we will probably soon get a 616 electro that looks like the ultimate one

3) no that doesn't mean he's recognizable haha. popular opinion rules in this case, not the minority readers (im sure some people were pissed we got a sam jackson fury too, especially older movie goers who had no idea the ultimate comics existed). I mean... we could have Superman with a Mullet, and shooting blue or red electricity.. like his horrible 90s run, but that doesn't suddenly make it a good idea or "recognizable"

I agree, and he looks like a U-foes reject. which is sad, considering they're already the most generic looks to comic book characters next to Sentry and Hyperion.

Well I also meant an updated version of the USM suit. Definitely no thunderbolt lol.

Some vague reports about it have come out throughout the production.

Compiling what vague descriptions we have,

it's a black leather suit. It has silver lines/stripes on the shoulders and chest, with silver accents throughout the rest of the suit.

Also, it has a high collar (similar to the USM and TSSM Electro suits) and it has combat style boots incorporated.

A detail about Electro's skin is that it glows an "icy" blue and his veins glow/pulsate with electricity.

Another detail Foxx himself spilled his that Electro gets experimented on, so its likely the suit comes from comes from Oscorp.

And again, this all comes from various online reports.

So it all is still rumor until, hopefully, pictures of it hit within the next 2 weeks.

thanks. although i never heard of that description where did you find it? and electro sounds pretty awesome to me. and im sure since mark knows alot about spidey mythos that he will incorporate the original suit in the film in some way for a nod to the fans

If Foxx had burn marks on his face in the shape of star or lightning bolt it'd look cheesy but acceptable, but a star mask on his face or a thunderbolt suit... yeah pass.

But yet with Green Goblin, I want a mixture of Ultimate and 616. Lose the elf hat and give him the purple cloak, but keep everything else about the 616 version.

i think people are thinking too literal.... 616's literal costume wouldn't work, but having a green costume, and having electricity spark/jolt off his face and body to form at times aspects of his 616 silhouette, completely would.

the yellow is more important than the green. And truth be told i doubt Vulture would be green.. they'd probably give him his modern Black/Red costumed armor over his Green one
