Expect some complaining with every new pic of Electro. It happened with the Times Square set pics, it's happening with his costume reveal and it'll happen again later on. Too bad it's always the same people complaining about his costume's color.

electro was turning blue even before this film was even thought up to be fair

eh... not in 616. his electricity is sometimes blue, but his costume is still green/yellow.

and i get people's reasoning on the "too much green" but, I'm hoping goblin has his trade mark purple, and I'd honestly rather see a blue color scheme like electros applied to Mystrio. That purple and blue coloring would look fantastic for mystrio's head.

Yeah, if anything the design I am most concerned about is GG. I want to see the purple as well but I think he'll still have green elements to the costume/skin color. And you're spot on for Mysterio's head. t:

ah but that's the thing... with a yellow/green electro you at least get far less complaints.

honestly not that many people would complain that they went with his classic color scheme as they would about not going with the blue ultimate look.

there will always be complainers, but i do think nods to a classic "more familiar" look would still garnish less complaints.

didnt you hear the rumor about the nod they were doing. and most of the GA dont even no that different versions of him even exist

This is actually pretty good but it is what it is. If YOU are not excited about the costume...simple, don't watch the movie. I know I will watch it regardless if the suit Pink for all I care.

lol i think this is the error with people jumping to freak out conclusions. If i don't like electro's suit.. that does not effect me going to the film or not... Most people didn't like Lizard's look and still saw the film...

I didn't mind lizards look though, this and R.H.I.N.O. annoy me a bit, and i wish things were different. But that's ok. I'm seeing the film for the story, and the actors.

it's not going to "OH NO RUIN THE FILM FOR ME"

I would just be more excited if the looks to characters were more to my liking (and guess what, that's perfectly fine)

Oh wow. I'd be praising Webb and Co. if this is what we got. The Spidey suit is already perfect, but this Electro would sweeten the deal.

You can never please people. How about we stop being ungrateful and just appreciate what is there.
I love the suit!

Because it's not 1999 anymore, and we as a comicbook movie audience don't have to settle for anything less than something that honors the source material?

oh calm down. there's hardly any yellow to his face at all... i toned most of it down. It'd be more White electricity with a yellow tint when in motion

I know about all the rumors, however.. i do not know which rumor you're referring to???

that being said.. yes, the GA don't give a crap. But you also have to keep in mind those who are familiar with ULT are SEVERELY out numbered by the people who know the 616 look, and it's not just avid comic readers... it's people who grew up reading the books as kids, it's people who grew up watching the cartoons etc... yes, that still doesn't out way the GA, but it certainly tramples over the Ultimate crowd.

yeah well you havent seen this one in motion either so i wouldnt be complaing espescially if its just the side of his body and havent seen him in motion there might be electricity flowing around his body too.

If that's the case we don't need people filling up the topic with the same praise. People can voice their opinions on a discussion board. It's the boards only function.

I like the head but could live without the suit. Why does it have to be the generic dark blue/ black. I figured he wouldn't have a suit but since they made a suit they could have at least thrown in some yellow.
