I have a sick feeling Harry is going to be the Goblin. At least that opens up a chance for Venom to be done by Eddie Brock.

Me too. I do not care for that one bit.

what does he do somomone bring him back here so we can question him with no remorse he stays on this thread for like 30 seconds anyway

Call me an angry fanboy, but since Michael Massee isn't playing Norman Osborn, I'd love to have Harry be the Green Goblin instead of Norman.

Sorry, I'm just still bothered by that.

From Vulturess to Goblinette. We have come full circle.

Could anyone (or would anyone want to) see them pull a SSM, with Norman framing Harry?

I recall MTV spiderman ep where Harrys new girlfriend was Thief named Talon which Spiderman has to face off against and She was somewhat similar character to black cat

TASM 2 may be same type of scenario .

No way she's Norman's girlfriend because as far as we know the guy's still sick/dying .

exactly so maybe shes the care taker or somthing like black cat in TDKR who was posing to be a maid to take stuff maybe thats her same role

Loving the tag line, the excitement is buildinggggg.

Black Cat having a Catwoman-like character arc (but over multiple films) could be fun to watch.

lol thought people loved spectacular.

I love SSM. It's still my favorite non-comic version of Spider-man to date. And that includes all the films.

The issue with trying to do a SSM though, is that the Norman/Harry twist was one that works much better in a series, and not in a film. They really drew out and developed the "who is the Goblin?" mystery, which was great because they wanted the viewers to have the same anticipation for who the Goblin was as the original readers of the comics did back in the 60s/70's. But that twist was one that needed time to grow and develop before it could be revealed, and I don't think it would be as effective if you try to cram it into a 2hr film.

Now, I could be wrong, and I certainly wouldn't mind if TASM films are taking cues from SSM (best thing they can do in my opinion) but I just think it would be hard to pull off.

I think Sinister Six is coming in part 4. Peter and Felicia could team up to fight them (reverse Avengers scenario).

Rhino in the trailer does not show.Only Electro.
You're saying things anyone could have guessed. You were wrong with the Thor trailer release tidbit. Unless you prove solid info, everyone is hesitant (or has already given up on) believing you. Sorry if I sound harsh man, but it's the truth.

Correct. Also an issue is whether having a "twist" is actually worthwhile to the story. More often than not, the twist is either weak, predictable or negates what we've been shown/told up to that point in the film (See any Shymalan movie).

I'd prefer they concentrate on telling a solid story rather than going for gimmicky "twists" which are really only there for shock value (they never have the same impact on the the second, third viewing, etc...thus making them useless).

Additionally, I have higher expectations for a Spider-Man film. Though the "surprise revelation" seems to be a big trend these days (IM3, TDKR, STID)...

I'm still a fan of the 90's Spider-Man. TSSM was good, but the fact that it was only 2 seasons makes it fall short in my eyes. CDB all the way, he's still the voice that pops into my head as Spider-Man.
