I'm still a fan of the 90's Spider-Man. TSSM was good, but the fact that it was only 2 seasons makes it fall short in my eyes. CDB all the way, he's still the voice that pops into my head as Spider-Man.

I think people over their heads thinking Felicity is Felicia, she could be, but she could also be another character from the comics, or....even just written for the movie.:
not saying she won't be, I hope she is, I've been wanting a live-action Black Cat for years....but just don't expect her to be that as she might not be (and avoid dissapointment)
On what Felicity said in that interview, she could either Norman's or Harry's girlfriend. most likely the latter. I have a feeling though that they'll be pulling our leg throughout the whole movie for a BIG finale.

... What about this Menace Goblin Girl? Lilly Hollister. Wasn't she dating Harry and got pregnant by Norman? Would make the confusion perfect.

Correct. Also an issue is whether having a "twist" is actually worthwhile to the story. More often than not, the twist is either weak, predictable or negates what we've been shown/told up to that point in the film (See any Shymalan movie).
I'd prefer they concentrate on telling a solid story rather than going for gimmicky "twists" which are really only there for shock value (they never have the same impact on the the second, third viewing, etc...thus making them useless).
Additionally, I have higher expectations for a Spider-Man film. Though the "surprise revelation" seems to be a big trend these days (IM3, TDKR, STID)...

Ah, it depends on the twist. A twist done well, one that is in keeping with the story itself, can be wonderful. The Sting is a perfect example of a great twist done well. And, though it's ironic now given this director's current status, The Sixth Sense was another wonderful example of an expertly crafted twist.
Now, if they build up the Goblin mystery over two films, I think it could work. It would be an interesting way to go, and I wouldn't be opposed to them using Harry as the "Red herring" in the first film, if it's handled well. If they approach the Goblin as a character shrouded in mystery the entire time, with Spider-man constantly trying to figure out who he is, a twist reveal wouldn't seem out of place. The issue with some of the movies you mentioned (IM2, TDKR) is that there was no real sense of mystery about the characters that ended up being red herrings.
