Why do they do that? Can you see anything at all through the lenses?

 I read that he didn't.

found a pic from the last movie, you should be able to see the shell if you look closelly :yay:

I think it has less to do with seeing and more to do with breathing. I mean he can breathe with them on but at a certain point they need to remove them so he can get some fresh air.

I always wondered about the lenses and if the actor could actually see much out of them. I guess the others were like sunglasses but these white ones??

That would actually be hilariously awesome to have in a scene if you ask me!
It would be pretty funny that right at the end of his first appearance which is incredibly heroic, action packed and just perfectly awesome ends with him getting crapped on by a bird.

Typical Spidey luck.

How do they take lenses out and make them stay when they put them back in? I thought once they were on they were on really good.

I have so much faith that this movie will be amazing. In an interview, Andrew said the script is "very good", Emma said it's good, and now I see this:

Stop the presses! The actors said their movie will be good? OMIGOSH this movie will be the best movie ever!

You're either really young or too innocent. I mean, seriously dude, what do you expect them to say? "Oh whatever, it'll be meh." or "I hated the script, this more will suck."?

Actors word on their project means nothing buddy. Don't take this to mean this will suck though, everything I'm seeing do far is a two thumbs up from me, but just sayin.

I really don't want comedy that early in the film, it would set the tone.

Just like how you cork a bottle, pop it in the hole. Theres grooves to fit into in the mask.

Actually, you can tell (or at least I can) when somebody is being sincere. You can tell by their word choice, tone, etc. When words like, the script is "amazing" come from GREAT actors, I have faith the film.

Spot on!

I would love if that happens right when he's facing a thug however, with the thug confusingly not knowing if he should be afraid of Spidey beating his ass or laugh at how stupid he looks with the bird **** haha! Could end up priceless!

I'm not a mask expert, is a face shell just something to keep the shape of the mask in check?

My only concern with the suit is that it doesn't appear to be skin-tight in the pictures.

Not sure why so many people are struggling over the idea of a copycat Spidey. I mean, I can't be the only one who immediately thought of this:

My vote? It's just some guy. Nothing to worry over too much.

As much as I love the classic suit I loved the one he had in Amazing Spider-man. I'm not really happy that they've changed it, still hope there's a reason behind it.

Not really. First of all, they're actors, they know a thing or two about pretending (not saying they do all the time, but its not always easy to see when). Second, the movie can get messed up in directing, editing, or special effects, none of which actors really have a control of. Either way, actors will always say good things about a project they're working on.

Look at Ryan Reynolds before Green Lantern came out. Genuine excitement and optimism. Look at Hugh Jackman and the other actors before Origins, genuinely saying its a great script.

Again, that doesn't have to mean this movie will suck. In fact, the margin for that happening is very very low imo.

Don't forget that they're actors! ;)

EDIT: Symbiote beat me to it!

The bird poop on the mask is proof that Vulture is in this movie.

Haha, if Spidey would get bird poop on his mask sometime after having faced Vulture, I would love for Spidey to say something like "Really, Vulture!?" or something like that haha!
