but its possible peter will see the same store from TASM get robbed and it would have quite an impact on peter who would then see the place uncle ben died again

Probably when they decide to use Spidey in Avengers. Or maybe they'll include references in the movies and that'll make it official.

And not to bash on Raimi or his trilogy because I love them, but Webb seems to have a better head on his shoulders in looking at everything in a bigger, broader sense. It's like a chess board. He's moving pieces forward, setting up for something astounding. With the inclusion of two villains this movie could fall on its face and everything he hoped and dreamed of doing with a Spider-Man sequel could prove disastrous but hopefully he'll have better editors this time out because that was my only complaint with "ASM" was the editing. Everything else worked for me.

I just wouldn't want this "make the world bigger" to again be an excuse for a half-assed, inconclusive plot. I'm really hoping that TASM 2 finds a way to use the parents subplot for something OTHER than just "Yeah, the science they created for Oscorp will be the reason behind every superpowered villain".

In the House of M reality, Electro is one of Rhino's friends (along with Vulture and Ox) who helped him attack and detain the Green Goblin for ruining the best chance at a good life for Rhino.
Im thinking Rhino's part may be small BUT he will have an influence on Electro. I think both Electro and Spider-Man are attempting the same thing, to take down Norman Osborne but the way Electro goes about it is violently so Spider-Man has to intervene

Well, they technically already had an easter egg. In one of the MCU shorts, Item 47, a guy in there is wearing an Empire State University shirt. ESU is a Spider-Man property and is owned by Sony.

Not sure if they'll take it further than just easter eggs but I do hope so. Plus, Spidey appearing in Avengers would be a win-win situation for both Sony and Marvel/Disney from a financial point of view.

My only worry is that this could backfire and hurt both Spidey and the Avengers. It can hurt Spidey because his movies might become part Avengers promos like how all the solo MCU movies were other than IM1 and TIH and it can hurt the Avengers because Spidey might steal the show at their expense kinda like how other Justice League members are sometimes turned into complete idiots in order to make the most popular member (Batman) look like the coolest. And yes, I would want Spidey to shine but not at the expense of everyone else. There is also the possibility that Spidey might get dumbed down to just comic relief like he is often in the comics whenever he is with the Avengers.

It's something I would love to see if it's well done but that could go either way.
