On the speaking of Peter's jeans, I kinda like skinny jeans. Because I am pretty skinny? I guess?

Could that maybe be the reason that so many people here are hating on skinny jeans...not to be mean but maybe they think they're too heavy to fit into them or something, I don't know.

I actually think it would be the most amazing thing ever if they already have Harry as a drug addict in this one

I'm not taking Wes' side (I don't care what kind of jeans Peter wears), but there's no need to attack him personally.

If you disagree with him, supply a reasoned argument.

Alright, in the Ultimate comics atleast Peter wore 'baggy' clothing to conceal his Spidey physique.

There, comicbook accurate, done and done. Now can we please move on ?

First they show Peter meet Harry at school, and then when they show Harry at home he's doing drugs. I think that should happen.

I'm not hating on skinny jeans, I'm just saying WHO CARES. That's like a girl complaining that they don't like Gwen or MJ's nail color. It has no affect on the movie one way or another. Tony Stark in real life would probably wear a lot of Ed Hardy and Afflicted clothing, but he doesn't. Peter switches up his style, like everyone does. If you don't, then how can you say you're fashionable if you don't try new things

Because the skinny jeans are one of the defining aspects of this new Peter...it means that he's current and has a fashion sense. It does have an affect on the character for me...

Would anyone else here ever like it if Spidey swore? Like "hell" or "damn"? I would love for once to hear Spidey say:
"What the hell is that?!", because it's such a relatable reaction.

Pal, I got some news for you: pick up any men's magazine (Esquire, GQ) and you won't see any models wearing skinny jeans. You won't see the fashion guides hailing skinny jeans. You'll find an emphasis towards tailored, fitted, but Hot Topic skinny jeans/jegings? Lord no.

Whatever, I give up. You keep living in your world where skinny jeans are the pinnacle of 21st century fashion.

I don't know if these were posted here yet (these specific pictures) so here:

i hope rhino throws a car at spider-man and spidey dives through its open windows; contorting his body alongside the spinning airborne wreakage, before emerging from the other side unscathed.

dodging flying cars via leaping through their interior is one of the defining aspects of spider-man :P

But let's face it; baggy is out of fashion. Even the toughest kids now wear fitted jeans of some sort.

Why do you guys think Peter is running? Do you think he's trying to catch the imposter?

Yeah I can't see his man-cameltoe so it CAN'T be Peter. Looks like some guy from the 80's or something.

So me, coming into this thread out of context, find myself in a barrage of 'skinny jeans' comments. Kinda weird!!!

This thread is like wearing skinny jeans on your head.

You're right. I put the baggy in quotation mark (or whatever those things are called) because thats how WesMan sees Peters current clothing style. To him regular fit is baggy and formless.

Even then, Andrew's outfits as Peter is pretty much the same as it was in the last film. His blue jeans isn't any more baggier than the black ones he wore. They're still skinny jeans.

Anyway..

EDIT: His red pants are less tight than his blue or black jeans but they're still fitted nevertheless.

It might just be me but Pete's pants never came off as skinny jeans to me, sure they were fitted but still I felt they were pretty lose and enough for him to move around in. When I think skinny jeans I think of pants that literally hug your legs completely.

Skinny Jeans (least how I've always interpreted them as):

Garfields Jeans (Which I see more as fitted):

I think he has another pair that are skinnier and I also think they look skinnier in the movie. Also look at these
