But a Sinister 6 film wouldn't be released until 2018, and it would be too soon for Sony to confirm that right now. If anything they should focus on promoting the next film, TASM2 and release a trailer, or an official image of Rhino.
i want to see rhino in motion but that fact that his scene will be so short just makes me feel like they want to save that for later or hopefully just give him a still

As far as trailers go, maybe we will get a REALLY quick shot of him charging towards Spider-Man and knocking something over... or just a quick shot of him about to charge.

Totally. This would make most sense.
For a scene so short, and for a tease (according to Marc), they would only wanna tease it so little in advertisements. Or not at all.

Sony better release something soon, all the hype right now is about the new Batman. If they really want to steal WB's thunder, they'll announce the Sinister 6!
Eh I feel you. But WB won't have their thunder for too long.

Sony has no reason to care about Superman/Batman. Spider-Man's not competing against it, so why should they try to steal their thunder?

It's for the buzz. What everyone is writing blogs about or tweeting about. The latest news. Why wouldn't they want everyone talking about Spider-Man, it builds hype.

If anything, WB has to worry about competing with Star Wars Episode VII, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

TASM2 has to compete with X-Men: DOFP. CA: TWS comes out about a month prior, but I don't think it will have a negative impact on the film.

I mean TASM2 comes out in about 8 months and a week ish. So they have a lot of time to build hype. Ben affleck news hype won't last that long lol.

Outside of the fan base, I don't think the GA will be talking about the Batman casting for much longer. The hype from the SDCC announcement about a Batman/Superman film seem to die down already.

Right. Because that's in 2015 lol. Huge drought to go. Haha

The villain hype will be the biggest thing, IMO. If they announce Lex, the world will shake.

Eh, not really. Everyone is more or less expecting Lex to be in it. I think Batman was the big question mark.

The casting of Lex. I think Cranston would be a wise choice. He'd be phenomenal.

People will be talking about the Batman casting for a LONG time. One, its Batman, simple as that. Two, its an unusual and controversial choice, so the debate will go one for a while.

Hardcore fans will debate about it long after the movie is released (people still argue about Michael Keaton to this day). But the GA will only discuss it for a short time and move on until more news is released.

Micheal Keaton is Batman

And many will highly disagree with you on that, but that further proves my point. There will always be a debate about whether or not he was a good Batman or not, and the same could happen with Ben Affleck.

Same as almost any cbm I guess except for a couple like Iron man and Wolverine

Though I think the GA is rather happy with Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.

He's a better cryer. Doesn't make weird faces. He's a better actor.

He actually looks like Parker, makes quips and seems to actually understand the character. Plus his body shape is perfect for the role, skinny but muscular

I thought so as well, but here lately I get into very heated arguments about this on facebook pages
Most of those people aren't necessarily part of the GA. The GA usually consists of people who go watch movies these movies casually. They don't keep up with the latest news or have much knowledge of the source material, nor do they have heated debates over which actor was better (Tobey vs. Andrew for example).
